Jimmy Carter Calls George W Bush the Worst President in History

May 20, 2007

Former President Carter says President Bush’s administration is “the worst in history” in international relations, taking aim at the White House’s policy of pre-emptive war and its Middle East diplomacy.

We may have to take him for his word on this. If there’s one thing Jimmy Carter should know about it’s bad administrations. How did Jimmy Carter’s foreign relations policy work out?

Not well, but, he did do most of the work on the Iran hostages. Reagan came into office right before Jimmy finished, so it looked like Reagan had solved the problem.

Well, Carter has traveled the world with his Carter Center, approving electoral results and procedures that many times have shown to be fraudulent. His latest attempt at stabbing democracy has been here in Venezuela, where the EU decided not to participate due to irrefutable proof of wrongdoing by the electoral council on behalf of Chavez. But Carter was quick and willling to say: PERFECT! Everything is perfect! History will judge you Mr. Carter…

Not only is GW Bush the worst president in US history but he is in a class by himself.

Unique among the Presidents GW Bush was a complete and total failure in everything he did from his time at Yale where a diploma was purchased for him, through his young adulthood when he was a drifter with a drinking problem until he was 40 and then a serial failure in business until the Neocons propped him up in the largely ceremonial Governorship of Texas and finally as the front for the Neocons as president.

    gasdocpol,
You forgot to mention he never won the world series while owning part of the Texas Rangers.

We can forgive GW Bush for not winning the World Series and even the embarassement of trading Sammy Sosa to Chicago. He was a competent cheerleader for the Rangers.

What is somewhat uglier, is the way his political friends condemned the land to build the Texas Ranger baseball stadium, uprooting families. This allowed his minimum investment to grow massively which allowed him to pocket a lot of money when he sold his share.

How did Jimmy Carter’s foreign relations policy work out?

The Camp David Peace Accord did make peace between Egypt and Israel. I would say that that was a significant accomplishment.

(I voted against Carter twice but since then I have gained respect for him, especially after having seen GW Bush)

GW Bush has ancestors on both sides Franklin Pierce was one of the worst. GHW Bush (the Elder) was one of the better ones.

Bush the Elder was a good president but apparently a mediocre parent.

I don’t like his politics but at least Jeb is smart and capable.

    Speaking of George W. Bush:

George W. Bush committed hate crimes of epic proportions and with the stench of terrorism (indicated in my blog).

George W. Bush did in fact commit innumerable hate crimes.

And I do solemnly swear by Almighty God that George W. Bush committed other hate crimes of epic proportions and with the stench of terrorism which I am not at liberty to mention.

Many people know what Bush did.

And many people will know what Bush did—even to the end of the world.

    Bush was absolute evil.

Bush is now like a fugitive from justice.

    Bush is a psychological prisoner.

Bush has a lot to worry about.

Bush can technically be prosecuted for hate crimes at any time.

In any case, Bush will go down in history in infamy.

I am not sure where I had read it before, but anyway, it is a linguistically excellent statement, and it goes kind of like this: “If only it were possible to ban invention that bottled up memory so it never got stale and faded.” Oh wait—off the top of my head—I think the quotation came from my Lower Merion High School yearbook.
