John Murtha Blames President Bush for JFK Airport Terror Plot

June 3, 2007

in-murtha3.jpgAs I predicted in my original post on this thwarted terror plot on JFK airport, it would only be a matter of time before Bush was blamed for it.

GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS, HOST: I want to get back to my first question, but let me pick up on something you said just there. You believe that these homegrown terrorist plots are being inspired by the U.S. work in Iraq right now?

JOHN MURTHA, CONGRESSMAN: Absolutely. George, they were inspired by them all over the world. Our presence in Iraq, our occupation in Iraq, gives these people the inspiration. Now, we didn’t have this problem before, they came from Afghanistan. But, now we even have it in the United States. So, I’m absolutely convinced that this is the kind of thing that inspires these people.

And there it is, the reprehensible John Murtha is the first to blame Bush. It’s the Iraq war that is causing all future terror plots according to him. Instead of giving credit for the great work that was done to bring this plot down, great work authorized by president Bush, he immediately has to try and blame the president. Someone needs to remind him that these so-called homegrown terrorists attacked us on our soil before we were over there.

What amazes me is that these people somehow don’t see anything wrong in giving President Bush as much power as they do. I mean, the way they’re going, it’s only a mater of time before they somehow link Bush to everything that’s gone wrong in the world over the past 8 years.

It’s all really silly if you ask me.

Just another one of the many incompetent dinosaurs that need to be removed from congress and government. I guess the Koran has no role in their desire to kill us “infidels”. And nevermind that the indictment says the plan was hatched 10 years ago! Murtha is a babbling idiot, plain and simple.

I’m assuming that Murtha is basing that opinion on that NIE that came out last year. He’s probably wrong in this case though.

Is Murth trying to keep Carter company or something, perhaps he’s angling for some Saudi Money.
