Stop Eating Meat to stop Global Warming

June 12, 2007

Now the vegetarians are jumping on the global warming bandwagon.

A leaked e-mail message has led to speculation that the British government plans to promote vegetarianism as part of a broader strategy to fight climate change.

In a message sent earlier this year to a vegetarian lobbying group, the Environment Agency — a statutory body set up under a 1995 law — said it was considering ways to deal with global warming, one of which was to encourage people to eat less meat.

Cattle produce too much co2, and they are being raised for our consumption, therefore if we stop eating meat we can stop global warming. This is simply a case of an agenda being spread by jumping on the hot topic of the day and spinning it to fit their views.

In recent years, vegetarian groups around the world have increasingly turned to the issue of climate change to promote their cause, warning that raising livestock produces large amounts of carbon dioxide (CO2) and methane – “greenhouse gases” blamed for global warming.

Whatever it takes to push the agenda. Besides the new environmental taxes that are sure to come, our lives are going to become drastically more regulated. We need to stop this before every aspect of our lives are either regulated or taxed.

But the National Farmers’ Union (NFU) said that meat and diary products are essential for a balanced diet.

“To suggest that people eating less meat and dairy products will have a significant impact on the fight against global warming seems rather dubious,” said NFU spokesman Anthony Gibson.

Thank you Anthony. I can’t believe something as absurd as this will actually be taken seriously but the way it works it will be hammered into our children until they know no other truth.

THIS ABSUDITY MUST STOP

I hate to sound uncouth, but did you know that vegetarians expel more gas than people who consume meat and dairy products. I read it in a medical journal. Sorry, can’t remember which one. It was in my doctor’s waiting room. Maybe we should just tax vegetarians or regulate them. Only allow them in public during certain hours of the day to protect the rest of the population from their expulsions of toxic gas.

I hadn’t heard that, the vegetarians must have forgotten to mention that somehow.
You’re right, it’s time to tax the vegans. 🙂

Of course, what these vegetarians never bother to realize is that people are omnivorous by nature, and that trying to persuade people to become vegetarian would be very contrary to what is actually best for people.

Vegetarianism is a choice. People need to eat meat to achieve optimum health. Our bodies don’t digest or use vegetable matter very well. To promote vegetarianism, they would also need to promote supplements that are necessary to keep the body at 100% once meat is removed from the diet.

Of course it can be done, but trying to promote it to the masses is unwise. Going vegetarian the wrong way results in very unhealthy people and going at it the right way takes a lot of work and dedication – something that not many people are willing to put forth these days.

As for me, I just dare somebody to try and take my steak away from me! 🙂
