New Hampshire Tax Protesters in Stand-off with Federal Marshals Part 5

Ed and Elaine Brown say they will not back down, if they come to get us we will die. That is what Ed Brown said in a news conference that they held outside their home today. Federal marshals still say they have no plans to attack.

Randy Weaver has now joined the Brown’s in their fight. You may remember him from the Ruby Ridge stand-off, when his wife, child, and dog were killed after being entrapped by federal agents during the CLINTON ( a Democrat, who cares so much for the people) administration.

Plainfield – A couple convicted of tax evasion and sentenced to jail say there’s no possibility that they will surrender to authorities.

Ed and Elaine Brown have been holed up in their home since they were each sentenced to more than five years in prison in April on federal tax evasion charges. They held a news conference outside their home today.

Elaine Brown says if authorities move in, “We’re dead. That’s it.” The Browns say they’ve committed no crime.

The Browns were joined by Ruby Ridge survivor Randy Weaver, whose wife and son were killed along with a deputy U.S. marshal in the Idaho standoff in 1992. Weaver said that he was concerned that a similar event could occur in Plainfield.

U.S. Marshal Stephen Monier has stated that there are no plans to storm the property or attempt to take the Browns by force. He said that they are trying to encourage them to surrender, and officials last week cut power, phone and Internet service to the property.
