New Hampshire Tax Protesters in Stand-off with Federal Marshals Part 6
As I just touched upon in part 5 of this series, Randy Weaver has joined Ed and Elaine Brown in their stand-off with federal marshals.
Randy Weaver, the focus of the botched 1992 federal raid in Ruby Ridge, stood with convicted tax resisters Ed and Elaine Brown yesterday in a show of solidarity.
Calling himself a freelance reporter to avoid a potential aiding and abetting charge, Weaver said his presence at the Browns was meant to shine a national spotlight on their case and prevent bloodshed.
Not much has changed in this stand-off with the exception of Randy Weaver showing up. Federal Marshals still say they will not engage in a violent stand-off.
“The U.S. Marshals Service is committed to resolving this peacefully,” Monier said in a statement issued yesterday. “Edward and Elaine Brown can end this today by doing the right thing, which is to call us and make arrangements for their surrender.”
However, Ed Brown claimes they have already been fired at, something the US Marshals office denies.
Ed Brown said authorities “changed the rules of engagement” when they fired two rounds and a Tazer at Brown supporter Danny Reilly, who spent hours in federal custody after inadvertently discovering armed surveillance teams around the Browns’ driveway on June 7.
“They would’ve killed him if he wasn’t moving,” said Ed Brown, who was wearing the badge of the Constitution Rangers, a militia group that defends the U.S. Constitution. “If they were going to kill him, they were going to kill us… They plan on doing the same thing to us that they did at Ruby Ridge.”
They still vow not to be taken alive.
The Browns have vowed to defend their lives and property, with deadly force if necessary, and say they will never surrender.
“If they come in, we’re dead,” Elaine Brown said yesterday. “That’s it. Either we walk out of here free, or we die.”
Not much has changed here, neither side appears ready to budge. We are still playing the wait and see game, but with all the supportes who have gathered at the Brown’s house something has to happen, and it probably won’t be good.

I remember meeting Randy and Vicki Weaver several years ago in Idaho. Our government brutally murdered Randy’s beautiful wife, his son, seriously injured a family friend and killed their family dog. My, what a brave government we have. Thank you, Randy, for not allowing that catastrophic experience to silence you. May God continue to give you the needed strength and determination to stand up for truth and justice.

I agree we need to all be like the Brown family, wake up america. Today people are hero’s when they fall of a ladder. Police are out of control and corrupt, court system is pathetic, Goverment is a Joke.

I can say this and this is the truth from my homework, income tax was created to help the war effort, to build war machines long before i was born, i was born into income tax
and always felt it was wrong even as a child, i would argue with my teachers about taxation, and the fact that if our tax dollars fund wars that i don’t agree with or that are none of my concern then why am i paying them, do i promote and fund boxing matches or debates no, i choose not to so why is war any different, not to mention the fact that the war that income tax was set in place to fund is long over. Do i owe the government a penny no, they owe me, their policies and efforts have only brought home owners to their knees. Good hardworking people cannot afford to live in todays society because of taxes, fees, despair distraction, delusion, and deception, the country is confused as people, and they government is capitalizing on it for their own agenda that is not the people, i mean do you go door to door and ask your neighbors what they think or how they are affected by todays policies, no you you don;t because todays society forces you to be afraid of your neighbor, to be greedy, i am only one man but this country was created on the backs and courage of men and women just like the browns.
And then you come back with the old saying well income tax is also used to fund schools and i say bloahhhh, i have six children 3 biological and 3 step, and i did not see my income tax dollars go to work
this school year, where talking over $500.00 dollars in public school fees, book rental, and over $80.00 in school supplies per child, do the math. Where are the tax dollars going who cares, thats what the American people say every day when they allow them self to be distracted from the truth, i personally think that the whole country should be willing to die for this cause and the browns are not on a cross and 1.9 million is not that much money as our government and personal habits have brought forth inflation. That like the new$100,000.00. My advise join their fight soldiers wont kill their own mothers and brothers and sisters for not paying a tax that the government has no legal right to, done my homework and just watch when the question arises again with someone else how the people in state and federal offices say blahh blablabla, and fail to produce any federal law stating any right to a portion of your wages. I mean we will make a fair trade if i choose not to pay income tax then in turn i will relinquish my right to the worthless programs our government has to offer, cant i just wake up every day do my job make my cash feed my family and freely choose to not participate financially in unwarranted violence against just another group of people who do not want our culture, i mean really at least do it right i would have more pride if we just took the oil and the opium from these countries straight up and passed the plundering on to the people
but our government and their agencies would rather take from their own and slowly creep up on these countries use them as pawns against each other and discard them when they are sucked dry, do you want to be known as America the snake? And for the person who said the bible says give ceasar what is his, America does not have a king, emperor, or a ruler, we have a government who does or should i say should do what the people say as a whole proof: iraq war majority of people want out and the president says no! is that democracy?
