Worms Implicated as Global Warming Menace
Just yesterday I posted about how every time I think I’ve heard it all about man-made global, warming something else come along. Yesterday it was San Francisco banning water coolers. Before that it was the genocide in Darfurbeing cause by global warming. We’ve also heard that we need to ban light bulbs, that cow farts are destroying the world. That we need to use only one square of toilet paper to save the world. And on and on it goes.
Today we have word that worms are destroying the planet.
Now, I dare say, I’ve heard it all. From shortnews.com:
Jim Frederickson, the research director at the Composting Association has called for data on worms and composting to be re-examined after a German study found that worms produce greenhouse gases 290 times more potent than carbon dioxide.
Worms are being used commercially to compost organic material and is in preference to putting it into the landfill. The German government wants 45% of all waste to be composted by 2015.
“Everybody… thinks they can do no harm but they contribute to global warming. People are looking into alternative waste treatments but we have to make sure that we are not jumping from the frying pan into the fire,” said Frederickson.
So, what does this tell us? If we are to believe carbon dioxide that humans emit are causing global warming, than how is it that worms are 290 times more dangerous to the environment than people? Worms are an intricate part of nature. There is nothing that worms can do to cause harm to the planet, just as there is no way people are causing the world to heat. Everything in nature serves a purpose, everything is intwined.
This is just ridiculous, I am running out of word to describe how stupid this is. Everything in nature helps to keep the balance in nature. It’s time for people to WAKE UP and realize this is a scam being perputrated on the American people all to raise tax revenue.

It really is ridiculous. I can’t believe what’s going on out there as far as the global warming craze is concerned. I think the bottom line is that nobody has any idea what they’re talking about, and they’re just trying to grasp at anything they can to jump on the bandwagon and make the problem look bigger than it really is.
I have an article saved from BBC science that talks about how trees are contributing to global warming because in the winter they absorb too much heat instead of allowing the snow to reflect sunshine away from the ground. Trees!
I think that Europe needs to drop the global warming thing and start trying to figure out what’s in their water supply instead, because somehow that continent is loosing its collective mind.

I think this is becoming insane. To think something as natural as worms or trees could be destroying the planet is not sane. This is just an attempt to totally politisize global warming with no substance behind it.

That is very true. It seems that as the science becomes more and more flimsy and people are starting to question things, the more political and bizarre things get. It’s almost as if they’re trying to blind people with an overabundance of strange theories and ideas in an attempt to cover up the fact that there isn’t really a solid basis to work off of.
