Al Gore Leads the Latest (June 26th)Democrat Poll in New Hampshire

June 27, 2007

The latest New Hampshire poll shows us we may have a new Democrat front-runner.

If Al Gore were to enter the race he would become the front-runner in a recent New Hampshire poll.

A New Hampshire presidential poll by WHDH-TV and Suffolk University shows that local Democrats prefer Al Gore to any of the current contenders.

Hillary Clinton has a solid lead over the rest of the current Democratic field. The poll, released this afternoon, shows 37 percent of likely Democratic voters backing Clinton or leaning towards her. Barack Obama was at 19 percent, with both John Edwards and Bill Richardson at 9 percent.

Al Gore, however, could enter the race as the leader.  When his name is added, Clinton loses more than a quarter of her support, while Gore is backed by 32 percent.

That is certainly a matter of which is the lesser of two evils, isn’t it? As much as I fear Hillary, I almost fear Al Gore more. He has become too much of an unhinged zealot for my comfort level. I can’t imagine the direction he would steer this country if he were given the power of the presidency.

You are right. I believe all the Democrat candidates are basically the same, however Gore with his environmental obsession could be very dangerous to our way of life.
Just think about how close he came before. Scary.

Yeah, no kidding! We were just talking about that the other day out here. Imagine where we would be had he actually won in 2004. It’s a very interesting thought, although I suspect he would have done enough damage to ensure a continued Republican rule in the legislature.

The biggest gorilla we’re facing right now is the possibility of a democrat controlled legislature AND White House. They would do more damage to this country then we could shake a stick at before we could get Republicans elected into office again.

I was just reading an article on CQPolitics.com that talked about how it was almost a guarantee that if Democrats control both the legislature and White House in 2008 that one of their first actions will be to re-implement the fairness doctrine. Yikes!

Not only the fairness doctrine, but also the immigration reform bill will be back on the table.
    We can’t let this happen.
