Public School in Brooklyn to Teach Muslim Religion
A school is set to open in Brooklyn next year that will teach Muslim studies.
New York City officials have not been open or candid, critics say, about a controversial public school set to open in Brooklyn next month that will teach Arab language and culture — the Khalil Gibran International Academy.
A local group, Stop the Madrassa Community Coalition, fears the school will become a Muslim-oriented school that promotes a religious and political agenda to its incoming sixth-grade class.
Arab culture is a religious culture. The liberals have found a term called the seperation of church and state in the constitution that doesn’t exist, and now they are willing to throw it out the window in this case. Why is that? Why is it okay for a public school to teach Islam but not Christianity? The left hates Christians because their beliefs go against what liberals believe, yet Muslims are much less tolerent of these same behaviors and it is okay for the left to teach this religion anyway. I can only believe it is to further the point of the left that Muslims are peaceful and it’s the evil United States interviening and causing all the world’s problems. The following quote is what I base this on.
The suspicions are fueled by comments made by the school’s incoming principal, Debbie Almontaser, as well as by some of her allegedly radical Islamist associations.
She has said, for instance, that U.S. foreign policy is “racist” and that the U.S. “triggered” terrorism by not being a fair mediator in the Middle East.
This is just who we need in charge of teaching sixth graders.

interestingly the whole concept of the separation of church and state was specifically designed to prevent America from becoming a culture and government lke that of the Islamic nations. Of course, at the time they were more concerned about a theocracy as it was seen in Europe at the time, but the concept remains the same with Islam today.
It is a mystery to me as to why the liberals are so concerned with keeping Christianity out of the public school and government buildings, but are so quick to allow Islam. Interestingly, this is also being seen in Minnesota schools where Christian prayer may be banned but they’re installing foot baths fr the Muslim students.
I guess it’s a typical liberal endeavor where they treat American law as something that can be molded to fit their interests but strictly upheld when it comes to “mainstream” American issues (i.e. Christianity).

I detest this situation. Even though the principal is Jewish, he does not speak Arabic. I believe all Muslim schools, public or private, are forums for fundamentalist beliefs. I have emailed President Bush protesting the opening of this Brooklyn school based on separation of church and state. For the better good, I think it prudent to close all religous schools if they are government funded. This is setting a dangerous precedent, and needs to be cut at the root. I am Jewish, but I believe that in the war against fundamentalist Islam, it will be the fundamentalist Christians who are our best hope. This is a deathly serious matter, since it is predicted that due to being “politically correct,” Europe and Scandinavia will have a Muslim majority running the governments by 2050, which is their global plan.
