Washington DC Public Middle School Students to Learn About Abortion and Homosexuality

August 9, 2007

Washington D.C. middle schools will begin to teach about abortions and homosexuality if the new proposed curriculum is passed.

eighth-grade students should be taught the definition of sexual orientation “using correct terminology” and learn that some people “may begin to feel romantically and/or sexually attracted to people of a different gender and/or to people of the same gender.”

The guidelines also say that sixth-grade students should be taught that “people, regardless of biological sex, gender, ability, sexual orientation, gender identity and culture, have sexual feelings and the need for love, affection and physical intimacy.”

Ninth-graders should be taught to “analyze trends in … contraceptive practices and the availability of abortion,” the document states.

Talk about indoctrination, this is totally removing the parents from bringing up their children the way they see fit. The schools are going to tell our children about what kinds of sexual behavior is acceptable.

This is another attempt by the left to further their agenda regardless of how mainstream America feels about it. They cannot get mainstream America to follow their lead on these two issues, so they go after the weakest among us, our children. After years of indoctrination beginning at such a young age, all of the left’s ideals will be brainwashed into our young. The left has our courts and our schools and they will continue to impose their will on America, whether you like it or not.

It may take years doing it this way, but they have made great strides already, and will continue to do so if we let them. We need to stop these people before it is too late.

Well said. In Mass. the courts have backed up at least one school system having rights over parents re : homosexual content in education. The schools are stepping way out of bounds for reasons of political agenda as opposed to caring about kids. Math and science etc will pay the price for time spent learning about values and actions that are not desireable. If the schools teach this topics as well as the others these kids are going to be seriously _______ !
