Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick says we Need to Love Terrorists During his Sptember 11th Memorial Speech

September 12, 2007

This is what the governor of Massachusetts had to say in his September 11th remembrance speech:

Because among many other things, 9/11 was a failure of human understanding.  It was mean and nasty and bitter attack on the United States.  But it was also about the failure of human beings to understand each other, and to learn to love each other.  And it seems to me that that lesson and that warning is something that we must carry with us everyday.

Governor Patrick, are you saying it was OUR fault because we are not accepting enough of our enemies? If that is the case, how come you didn’t spread the love when you were working for President Clinton? We know President Clinton didn’t have any trouble spreading the love around, how come he wasn’t able to learn to love Osama?

He has to be talking about us learning to love the people who want to kill us, he can’t really be saying they need to learn to love us. That would be admitting that we have an enemy, and the moonbats, and Governor Patrick is definately a moonbat, will never admit that something is not America’s fault.

It is YOU Governor Patrick who fail to understand the radicals. I understand fully. I understand that the Islamo-fascists want to convert the whole world to Islam. The Koran also dictates this as their right. I also understand that they believe violence is an acceptable method for them to achieve this goal. I also understand that in Europe Muslims are out breeding non-Muslims by somthing like 5 to 2. Add it all up and I understand that we face a threat to our way of life.

It is you Governor Patrick who is too blind to see the realities we face today. It is you, and your like minded far left radicals that help to ensure that the islamo-fascist will eventually be successful.

I know that the left likes to brand people who speak about these threats as fear mongers, but is it fear mongering to try to point out the dangers we face? Are we supposed to feel that if we just extend our love to them that they will see how kind hearted we are and they will love us back? Everything in this life is not hearts and flowers and we need leaders who are willing to stand up and tell people the harsh truths sometimes. Governor Patrick is no such leader.

The nerve this man shows by blaming September 11th on our failure to reach out to our enemies and show them love during a remebrance speech ON September 11th is utterly disgraceful.

And if this wasn’t bad enough, read on:

Jim Ogonowski, the Republican candidate vying for the vacant seat in Congress, has been a speaker at the State House 9/11 ceremony for the past four years… but not this year.

Jim Ogonowski, whose brother, John, piloted American Airlines Flight 11 when it was hijacked on Sept. 11, 2001, has been a speaker for the past four years at State House anniversary events but was left out this year.

This year, he has been replaced by former U.S. Rep. Martin T. Meehan (D-Lowell), whose wife, Ellen, is chairing Democrat Niki Tsongas’ campaign against Ogonowski. Ogonowski won the GOP nomination this week and will face Tsongas in an Oct. 16 election for Meehan’s vacant seat.

Because Ogonowski is a Republican and he is running against Niki Tsongas, a Democrat, who Governor Patrick is endorsing he was not invited to speak this year, even though his brother piloted Flight 11.

There are just not enough adjectives to describe the anger I feel right now.

It really leaves a bitter taste in your mouth, doesn’t it? How did politics get to trump basic human decency in this country?

Too many of them have packed up and moved to New Hampshire, they seem intent on turning us into another Massachusetts.

I don’t understand how anyone can make a political statement on September 11th. This is a day for rememberance and reflection. This is the day that changed my life and my views. I wrote this post and the post about the September 11th truther essay contest ad that ran in the newspaper on September 11th yesterday. However I refused to post them on September 11th and held them until today, I didn’t want to be guilty of politicizing the day that I am so pissed of that other have politicized.

in2thefray, are you living in Ma? Or anywhere in New England? If so I will move your link in my blogroll into my New England Blogs blogroll.

This is just one more ridiculous comment from a governor who doesn’t have a clue. From marching in gay marriage rights parades, to “lets love the terrorists who want to kill all of us..” Patrick is as far out there as you can possibly get.
    My God.
Excuse me while I lose my lunch….
    Thanks a lot Gov.
