Latest Fox News Poll (9/14) has President Bush’s Approval Rating Rising

Here is the results of the latest Fox News poll on president Bush’s approval rating:

The latest FOX News poll shows that while President Bush’s job rating remains low and a majority of Americans disapproves of his performance, his approval rating is up this week to its highest level in five months. Today 37 percent of Americans say they approve of the job Bush is doing, up from 33 percent last month, and 58 percent disapprove.

    It’s amazing what happens when you take a stand. As we’ve talked about before, all of this wishy-washy he said-she said attitude and ineffectual bickering and infighting is really starting to piss the American people off.

    I think that as long as Bush stands firm and continues to not sway to appease the loudmouth masses out there, his popularity will continue to climb amongst the level-headed moderate American public,

    I just wish the president had come out swinging more over the years, maybe the Democrats wouldn’t have been as succussful in turning the American people against him. He just didn’t seem to come out and defend his beliefs enough. It does seem that when he comes out and defends himself that his numers do go up.
    It seems to me that Clinton was on the television all the time defending himself, spinning everything in his favor, blaming the Republicans for his shortcomings. Maybe it wasn’t this way, but looking back he seems to have been constantly defending himself on television.
    I hate to say this, but maybe Bush should have been more like Clinton, but only in this aspect.
