Leading Meteorologist Calls Global Warming Ridiculous

Well, this is not a news flash, but Al Gore is full of shit. We have heard many meteorologists come out and discount the effects of man-made global warming. Scientists have found at least nine errors or exaggerations in his film “A Convenient Lie”, or whatever it is called. Now this article quotes one of the world’s most famous meteorologists who basically shoots down the whole theory of global warming being man-made.

ONE of the world’s foremost meteorologists has called the theory that helped Al Gore share the Nobel Peace Prize “ridiculous” and the product of “people who don’t understand how the atmosphere works”.

Dr William Gray, a pioneer in the science of seasonal hurricane forecasts, told a packed lecture hall at the University of North Carolina that humans were not responsible for the warming of the earth.

“The human impact on the atmosphere is simply too small to have a major effect on global temperatures,” Dr Gray said.

He goes on to say something that I have been saying for a while. And that is our children are being taught as fact that global warming exists and is man-made. They are being indoctrinated into this liberal mindthink that we are destroying the planet at such a young age that they will know no other truth.

“We’re brainwashing our children,” said Dr Gray, 78, a long-time professor at Colorado State University. “They’re going to the Gore movie [An Inconvenient Truth] and being fed all this. It’s ridiculous.”

“We’ll look back on all of this in 10 or 15 years and realise how foolish it was,” Dr Gray said.

Unfortunately it will be too late in 10 or 15 years. No, not too late to save the planet, but too late to stop the liberals from taxing us to death in the name of saving the planet. If you are a regular reader here you know that I believe global warming is a political issue being used by the left in order to raise taxes, and not a scientific issue. I have written various posts in which scientist question the global warming theory, and this is just another post with another prominent scientist questioning Al Gore. As I have written in the past, please stop and ask yourself ” Why is it that a politician is the leading advocate against global warming?” Because, like it comes down to with all politicians, it’s all about money. Show me the money.

He raises the point that during a cooler period on the earth there were more hurricanes than during a warmer period. Hurricanes seem to be blamed lately on global warming, so how can this be?

During his speech to a crowd of about 300 that included meteorology students and a host of professional meteorologists, Dr Gray also said those who had linked global warming to the increased number of hurricanes in recent years were in error.

He cited statistics showing there were 101 hurricanes from 1900 to 1949, in a period of cooler global temperatures, compared to 83 from 1957 to 2006 when the earth warmed.

So why don’t more scientists come out against global warming? Dr Gray has a theory:

“It bothers me that my fellow scientists are not speaking out against something they know is wrong,” he said. “But they also know that they’d never get any grants if they spoke out. I don’t care about grants.”

It’s all about the money.
