Hillary Clinton’s White House Records, Why can’t We See Them?

November 4, 2007

hillary_clinton.jpgIn last week’s debate, much to Hillary’s disdain, Tim Russert hit her pretty hard on the issue of why Bill Clinton ordered the documents of Hillary’s record as first lady classified until 2012. She stated the following about her records on healthcare being released:

“Now, all of the records, as far as I know, about what we did with health care, those are already available,”

That is not entirely true, in fact it is a lie.

In a letter last year responding to a Freedom of Information Act request by the conservative group Judicial Watch, Melissa Walker, supervisory archivist of the Clinton Presidential Library, wrote that archivists had identified 3,022,030 still-unreleased health-care documents, along with 2,884 e-mails and 1,021 photos covered by the group’s request.

If you are unfamiliar with this Judicial Watch request under the Freedom of Information Act, I wrote about it here. This lie during the debate has prompted Judicial Watch to file a new lawsuit last week asking for immediate release of Hillary’s failed healthcare documents as first lady.

Clinton campaign spokes-man Jay Carson says that as many as half a million health-care papers have now been disclosed, but he acknowledges that many others have yet to be cleared. “There are undoubtedly other documents related to health care in the hundred million pages” of unreleased records at the library, Carson said, but he added that Clinton’s hands were tied because understaffed Archives officials had to review each and every FOIA request—and handle all of them in order. “We don’t control their process,” he said. “We’re not holding anything up.”

Apparently Bill Clinton’s signature ordering the papers to not be released isn’t holding up the release of the papers according to Clinton’s spokesman. It’s not their fault, isn’t that always the way?

Why doesn’t she want us to see them, what is she hiding?

Apparently this has had little effect among Democrat voters as they expect lies and corruption out of the Clinton’s anyway, so why would this change their vote?

“Why doesn’t she want us to see them, what is she hiding?”

She’s dirty. there’s no two ways about that. She has done some very questionable things and she know that the overwhelming American public would not approve of what she has done. I suspect that she knows that if the people knew the whole truth about here, and not just what has been spun by her staff and supporters, that she would be ruined.

I agree, but I don’t understand how so many people can be fooled by her or her husband. These two have been shrouded in controversy from the beginning yet they have always managed to get elected. People either don’t care of they don’t pay attention, either way it makes you shiver to think these people vote without educating themselves. The Clinton’s, Bill especially, have always lived of that soundbite mentality where people hear a clip on the news and like what the hear, they don’t bother to find out the facts. They vote based on the soundclips.

Let’s see.. It is really NOT up to the archives to release the “secret” letters of the Hitlery… they can be released via aphone call… Bubba demanded by letter that they’d not be released for 12 Years AFTER he left the White House.. what a Coincidence, it is the exact number of years AFTER the next Election.. ahh those open and transparent Clintonistas… Lying as Usual
Could those ” secret” files shed light on ” missing documents of Travelgate”… Foster…. the Kathleen Willey affair regarding her deceased Husband… other odiferous “affairs”… mmmmm me thinks so!

They could shed light on a number of different scandals, maybe all of them, or maybe just how her Hillarycare failure crashed and burned.

Hillary Clinton declines to speak to substantive issues, while opting for Politically Correct ones – even if she has to script them herself. Hillary was at a college, why not talk about education? She already has the Teachers Union, so how else could the Clinton media report her comeback after, “you know,” the Illegal Alien Driver’s License (gotcha) gaffe?

Like a good many Americans, I don’t want that duo back in the White House. What is past is prologue. But what about the incidence of Al Qaeda flight students, trained at the University of Bill Clinton? Do the papers show evidence? It’s an honest question. Ultimately unelectable, I hope you are right. I have heard that Republicans are secretly hoping she wins the nomination because they feel her negatives make her very beatable.
