San Francisco may Ban Fireplaces in Homes
Cross posted at Grizzly Groundswell
San Francisco seems to be on a real roll lately and they must be rolling down a hill because they are still rolling. Last week the San Francisco,s board of supervisors voted to hand out ID cards to illegals and issue gender neutral ID cards, this week they are going to vote on whether San Francisco residents will be allowed to have a fire in their own fireplace in their own homes.
I suppose I don’t even have to tell you why they want to do this, you have probably already figured it out, but it is an effort to help slow global warming. Which as can be read here is not only destroying the planet, it is destroying the universe. This is coming from the city that has previously tried to ban water coolers and has banned plastic bags in the name of global warming, so this seems like the next logical step. But there is just one small problem:
Interestingly, one loses on the issues of global warming because the odd paradox is, the more there is cloud cover or “smoke” in the air, the cooler the Earth will be. It is well documented how the Earth’s temperature cooled after the explosion of the volcano Krakatoa. From that standpoint, one ought to encourage fires which produce the maximum amount of smoke.
Of course, that position is politically absurd.
Smoke and cloud cover help keep the earth cooler, so what is this all about? Are they just trying to make it look like they care sbout the environment so much that they are willing pass legislation against having fires in San Francisco resident’s own homes? Science be damned, wait a minute, there is no science behind global warming anyways, so they can ban whatever they want and say it will help save the planet. Hell, saving the universe.
Perhaps they will begin giving out permits, for a fee of course, to residents who want a fire. Yet another solution to global warming that just happens to take citizen’s money away from them. Or perhaps this is a way to gain more control over their subjects, I mean constituents.
Global warming is about two things, money and power, so this attempt at banning people from having fires in their own homes has to be about one of those. Perhaps both. Think about this for a minute, people are starting to be told what they can do in their own homes by the government. We have already heard from the ban smoking everywhere crowd that you shouldn’t be allowed to smoke in your home if a neighbor can smell it, now this.
You can read the article this post is based on here.

That place is truly losing its mind, and why people are not leaving in droves is beyond my understanding.
Am I the only one who prays for an earthquake in that bastion of stupidity?

You didn’t have to mention the city. Just say, guess who wants to ban fireplaces and undoubtedly the response would be: San Francisco
