Is Global Warming Real? Blame the Jews
The list of things that the environmentalists blame for destroying the planet goes on and on. Everything from water coolers, to plastic bags, to earthworms have been said to cause global warming. Now we find out the latest item that is destroying the planet. Jews.
That is right, the environmentalists are now reporting that all of the candles being lit on Menorahs over Hanukka are doing irreversible damage to the planet.
The founders of the Green Hanukkah campaign found that every candle that burns completely produces 15 grams of carbon dioxide. If an estimated one million Israeli households light for eight days, they said, it would do significant damage to the atmosphere.
“The campaign calls for Jews around the world to save the last candle and save the planet, so we won’t need another miracle,” said Liad Ortar, the campaign’s cofounder
Do they even understand how ludicrous this sounds? These same people are probably at home right now with their stupid, nice smelling aroma candles burning in every room of their houses.
“There are many people who just light candles for the tradition and for their children,” he said. “To tell a child on the eighth day that we are not lighting the last candle as a sacrifice for the environment is an act that is not only educational but also will prevent the release of a huge amount of carbon dioxide that would hurt the environment.”
They are asking Jews to change the meaning of the eighth candle to represent sacrificing for the environment. Who do these people think they are to tell someone what their symbolism should represent?
And what about Christians? Why are they only targeting Jews? Christians light the candles on an Advent Wreath every Christmas season. Shouldn’t they be told not to light the final one? Instead of lighting the last candle to represent the birth of Jesus, shouldn’t they not light it to represent a sacrifice to mother earth?
What about radical Muslims? Shouldn’t we tell them to stop blowing up cars to help save the planet? Maybe if we tell the lefties in this country that there was irreversible environmental damage done on September 11th, and that the terrorists are doing more damage to the environment by blowing up cars than Jews are by lighting candles they will support the war.
Anyway, I thought producing energy was a major source of global warming. What about the days before electricity? Why didn’t the world start heating when fire was used for heat and light by everyone in the world all day and all night? Why don’t we blame the Geico cavemen for this problem?
Honestly, think about this, lighting candles is bad for the planet, this really is getting absurd. I know I’ve said that before, but how else would you describe it? I have heard the theory that global warming is the environmentalist’s religion, and when you hear them start to tell other religions how to practice their faith, you have to wonder if they are going to slowly try to take over other religions.
These people will stop at nothing until they get what they want. They will blame almost everything for causing global warming, and what they can’t blame for causing global warming, they will say is an effect of global warming. The genocide in Darfur is a perfect example, the environmentalists have said that the reason there is genocide in Darfur is…….global warming.
So the battle goes on, we must win this fight or we will all pay, dearly.

Nobody believes that burning one less candle during Hanukkah is going to make the tiniest different in the environment. I was searching for an argument against the global warming for my class discussion and I have come across this article. The article reminded of a commercial from 80’s,”from Sharp minds come Sharp ideas”. In this case, the commercial should say from stupid minds come stupid ideas. This article should be given Stupidity Award. I could not believe that I have wasted my time to read this article.

They are serious. As far as symbolic goes, these people have no right telling people that they should change their religion’s symbol’s meanings.

Environmentalists are the problem, these hippies smoke to much weed. Last year over 500,000 tons of marijuana were burned contributing vast amounts of CO2 into the global atmosphere. If these people really cared they should stop doing weed and start working.

Are you kidding me? What ignorant racist concocted this load of BS? The lighting of candles during Jewish holidays is by no means the cause of this epidemic. Lets be serious here. The issue lies in our incessant need to use fossil fuels, burn coal and use things containing CFC’s. These are the cause of Global warming. Anti- semetic rhetoric bares no relivance to this topic. Why don’t we also look at the fact that so much of our ground water is being poluted by huge conglomerates with no possible reprocussions. Or maybe it has something to do with the need to remove trees, the one true source for purifying the air. Lets not be hate mongers. Jews are no more responsible for this than any other group of people.

Actually, it’s Canada’s fault! Blame Canada. Look at the consumption of fuel in the winter time to keep the nation heated; let alone run their vehicles. They use salt on their roads which raised the freezing point of water and drains into their rivers and streams. Why? so they can have their hockey hullabaloo? Look at the heat produced by their whale blubber lamps from North to South. Consider all the weed they smoke in B.C. alone. All that pot smoke raises the temperturature enough to melt the polar ice caps. Leave the Jews alone; it’s obviously Canada’s fault; and they’re not a real country anyway.
