Latest New Hampshire Primary Poll (12/12)

December 12, 2007

Hillary Clinton once held a seemingly insurmountable lead in New Hampshire of over 20%. That has now been surmounted.

She now has 31 percent support, with Barack Obama in a statistical tie at 30 percent. John Edwards is third with 16 percent, and Bill Richardson has slipped slightly to 7 percent.

This lead has been dwindling for weeks now, and Obama, with Oprah’s help, has finally caught her. I don’t know what this says about voters if they let a celebrity decide for them who they should vote for.

Nothing has changed on the Republican side.

Mitt Romney is leading with 32 percent support. Rudy Giuliani and John McCain both have 19 percent. Mike Huckabee has climbed slightly to 9 percent, and Ron Paul has 7 percent.
