The ACLU Argues in Court that the First Amendment Guarantees Immigrants the Right to Enter the United States

   This is unbelievable, well, actually it is the ACLU so no, it’s not so unbelievable. The ACLU is claiming a person should not be denied a visa to come to the United States to protest the war because of the freedom of speech.

The First Amendment right to freedom of speech should be interpreted as preventing the U.S. government from denying a visa to a foreign critic of U.S. war-time policy who has been invited to speak here, even when national security concerns are cited, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is claiming in a federal lawsuit.

 Now forgive me for asking a stupid question here, but doesn’t the freedom of speech, guaranteed in the UNITED STATES constitution only apply to Americans? Don’t you have to actually be a citizen of the United States to be afforded the protections of the constitution?

 The Aclu will stop at nothing to push their radical leftist positions upon the American people by using the court system. This is the latest example of that.

“This is a case not of speech but of immigration,” Roger Pilon, director of the Center for Constitutional Studies at the CATO Institute, told Cybercast News Service. “The government has always had this discretion.”

 According to the ACLU the government shouldn’t have the right to regulate immigration. Does this sound as absurd as I think it does? This is the point in the post where I have to say that I am not opposed to LEGAL immigration, I am opposed to ILLEGAL immigration. There, I just made my politically correct disclaimer, so back to the post. I am certainly in favor of stopping people with questionable backgrounds, as this person has, from entering the country. Common sense would tell most people that there are certain types of people we don’t need or want in the country, but the ACLU lacks common sense. Honestly, much of America lacks common sense, and that is due to the rise of the nanny state. The nanny state has replaced common sense with disclaimers, warnings, and regulations, so it is not surprising that common sense is lacking here.

 The freedom of speech does not guarantee foreigners the right to come to America any more than the freedom of religion guarantees Muslims the right to fly planes into buildings. I probably shouldn’t write that, it could give the ACLU ideas. 

 The ACLU has been working overtime to break down the United States and all the ideals she was founded on and this is the latest example. I consider the ACLU a political terrorist organization and I want them banned from the United States. The country would be better off without them and their anti-American agenda.
