ACLU Claims that Immigration Enforcement “Terrorizes” Americans
May 22, 2008
Well, the American Criminals/Communist Liberties Union is at it again, this time claiming that when America enforces her borders and border laws, (not that it happens nearly as often as it should), that we are “terrorizing” people all across the fruited plain. Also get this, we are racially profiling people who sneak across the MEXICAN border.
“Local law enforcement has been given the green light to engage in racial profiling,” Joanne Lin, a legislative counsel with the ACLU, said at the briefing held by the Appleseed Foundation, a non-profit network of 16 public interest justice centers in the United States and Mexico.“Massive immigration sweeps are terrorizing communities across the country,
Apparently the ACLU is claiming that immigration enforcement is the responsibility of the federal government and not the states. They oppose the states helping out on immigration issues. Not everyone agrees with the ACLU’s asinine position, just look at what a senior fellow at Cato Institute’s Center for Constitutional Studies had to say:
Ilya Shapiro, senior fellow at the Cato Institute’s Center for Constitutional Studies and editor-in-chief of The Cato Supreme Court Review, said there is nothing unconstitutional about states cooperating with the federal government.“The government cannot force states to cooperate, but if it’s done voluntarily, there is nothing unconstitutional about that,” Shapiro said.
We all know that the end game of the ACLU is not merely to uninvolve the states in immigration enforcement, that is only the beginning. The end game is to end all immigration enforcement, and they will do it one step at a time. How can they continue to call themselves the American Civil Liberties Union when there goal is to bring down the United States and everything we stand for? How can they call themselves the American Civil Liberties Union when they are representing foreigners, illegal foreigners, in a suit against America?

Racial profiling? Well when those who are coming across the border are predominantly Mexican or minimally Latin American then it is pretty obvious which “race” it is.
ACLU would be better off trying to change the rules on the prison colony in Aliens 2 or was it Aliens 3? Either way, they can leave any time now.
What astounds me the most is the backwards thinking done by the ACLU and other way overboard groups that move to hinder life in the USA. The more they hinder life in the USA, the more other countries will trounce us in the global market.
Then when we are no longer a major player in this global community, those same groups will also lose their prominent positions. Not being competitive means they are out of business too.
