Maxine Waters Threatens to Socialize the Oil Companies

Sorry, I am a couple of days late on this one. During last week’s congressional hearing with oil executives Maxine Waters threatened to socialize the oil companies. Here is the video:
Well, she obviously realized that she slipped up by showing where she really stands politically by using the word “socialize.” She said the magic word, bit the poison pill and it was bitter. Did you see how quickly she tried to move away from that word? She then could not find the word that she really intended to use, and that word is “nationalize.” Not that nationalize is any better of a word than socialize, they both mean the same thing. What they mean is exactly what Maxine Waters went on to say, that she wanted the government to take over and run their companies for them.
She has admitted what many of us already know, that Democrats are socialists at heart. She was then compared to, and rightfully so, Hugo Chavez and Venezuela. Of course I am sure she considered that a compliment, being compared to one of her heroes and all.
The best part of the video is watching the two people behind her as she stumbles her way through her ridiculous statement. As soon as she says the words “take over” watch the guy behind her start to smile and then hide behind her, this is followed by a woman who then enters the picture and covers her smile with her hand. They are laughing at her. Maxine Waters made a fool out of herself, but at the same time she showed us her true feelings.
What really set her off was the oil executives laying the blame of high gas prices at the foot of congress for not letting them actually drill for more oil. Oil that is plentiful on our own land. China is drilling off of the coast of Florida and we are not allowed to because of the environmentalists. And her answer is A GOVERNMENT TAKEOVER!

Yeah, I was going to say she is crazy too, but she knew what she said as soon as it came out of her mouth. The man was trying to hide his laughter, the woman, no. She spread her fingers while she “covered” her mouth. She made sure everyone knew she was laughing. Catty, meow! Well anyway, this didn’t really have an impact apparently, but it was funny/sad.

Given the fact that these guys are colluding and evidently trying to extort congress into letting them drill in environmentally sensitive areas (personally, let just keep that oil for a rainy day). Someone needs to get tough with them. This is the California energy crisis all over again but on a national scale.
Nationalize? That’s just taking it too far. If you’ve got to threaten them, threaten them with the lose of all of those tax breaks.

DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!!!! Not oil, not autos not ANY industry in this country. You think you got a haedache last summer over immigration reform…you ain’t seen nothing yet.
This American will stand and fight using any and all means at his disposal to resist ANY such Communistivc action in this country. The democratic Party has finallyu been revealed publicly for the Communistic bent I have watched in it for 50 years. You want problems…bring it on. I won’t be alone.

Yes, America is in trouble, and we have sure messed up. We have ruined the lives of so many including ourselves, but now the oil is the catalyst that will spark the revolt against government and replace it with one that will work and be free from corruption and contempt.
The march is to usher in the revolt that will follow shortly after all Americans are sick and tired of being afraid and used by government and business for their own pleasure. Common Sense is the way to freedom and respect!
No more games….its time to do something. America will be fixed. This march in Los Angeles for the Nationalization of Oil and the formation of a new Government will no doubt stir the hearts and souls of men and women in America to take back government and chain the “beast of Business” and get back on track. Los Angeles, California will be the place that the revolt against government began in 2008!
The American Republic (Government) and the formation of the American Republic Army will be next!

Of course the U.S. oil industry should be nationalized and operated as a non-profit public service like many electric companies are. Think about it for a moment. Every American that buys gas from a gas station is directly affected by the price of gas. And oil affects every other industry in this country from trucking to retail to wholesale to the airlines to restaurants etc. All of it. Is the U.S. supposed to allow one single industry to literally hold every gas-buying American and every single other industry in the country hostage? Because that is precisely what is happening. Do you like paying $4/gallon for gas? Will you like paying $5 or $6/gal. or whatever it will be next year for gas?
If you ask the average American if they want A.) to keep things the way they are and end up paying $4 or $5 or $6 or more per gallon indefinitely and getting ripped off by privately-owned capitalist oil companies; or B.) if they want to nationalize the oil companies for the good of the average American and pay $2.50/gal. or whatever they can bring the price down to when the profit margin is taken out of the picture, I would bet my life on the fact that about 98% of them would say “I don’t care if you call it the Leon Trotsky Red Proletariat Socialist Oil Company, just give me gas that I can afford to fill up my tank with without having to take out a second mortgage on my home.”
Nationalize the oil companies NOW.
