Screw You John Murtha, Charges Dropped Against top Haditha Marine

 I know I am a couple of days late with this post but it is too important to let this issue go just because I am a little late.

 The other day the charges against the top ranking marine accused of killing civilians in Iraq were dropped. Out of the eight marines charged with murder the charges have been dropped against seven. Only the marine who supposedly was the ringleader still faces charges and his case has been postponed.

 This is a stunning turn of events considering that John Murtha had already found them guilty two years ago.

 In case you forgot, this is what Democrat John Murtha had to say about the Marines before they even stood trial,”Well, I’ll tell you exactly what happened. One Marine was killed and the Marines just said we’re going to take care – we don’t know who the enemy is, the pressure was too much on them, so they went into houses and they actually killed civilians.”

 As if that wasn’t enough, this scumbag also said this about our marines, “there was no firefight, there was no IED that killed these innocent people. Our troops overreacted because of the pressure on them, and they killed innocent civilians in cold blood.”

 John Murtha just assumed the marines were guilty before they had due process and what bothers me the most probably isn’t even the fact that he presumed them guilty but more the reason why. He was using them as political pawns against President Bush. In his mind it was justifiable to hang these marines out to dry just to prove that President Bush was wrong. This man is a disgrace, he is despicable, and a liar.

 John Murtha owes these marines, their families, and America an apology.
