Plasma Televisions Cause Global Warming

A gas used in the making of flat screen televisions, nitrogen trifluoride (NF3), is being blamed for damaging the atmosphere and accelerating global warming.

Almost half of the televisions sold around the globe so far this year have been plasma or LCD TVs.

But this boom could be coming at a huge environmental cost.

The gas, widely used in the manufacture of flat screen TVs, is estimated to be 17,000 times as powerful as carbon dioxide.

I know how paranoid that thought sounds, but think about it. Every “solution” to this scam involves Americans changing their behaviors and paying more taxes and fees. So on top of all of the behaviors that are voluntarily going to be given up there are the freedoms that Americans will be forced to give up because they won’t be able to afford them with all of the new taxes they are paying. The government will get you coming and going.
