Schwarzenegger Slams Bush on Global Warming; “He didn’t Believe in it”

July 13, 2008

Rino governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger recently did an interview with George Stephanopoulos in which he blasted the president for his lack of action on global warming.

“This administration did not believe in global warming,”

“They just didn’t believe in it or they didn’t believe that they should do anything about it, since China is not doing anything about it and since India is not willing to do the same thing, so why should we do the same thing?”

He then went on to say “blah, blah, blah, blab, blah, blah, blah.” And he went further, “blahblahblahblahblah.”

The president held off on imposing taxes and fees and restrictions on the way people conduct their every day lives and for this he gets blasted by a Republican. Albeit, a faux Republican. Just look at some of the idiotic legislation that has made it’s way through to California legislators if you want to see the direction we will take under this fraudulent crisis.

Here is a list of some of the bills that have recently been debated in California:

Controlling People’s Residential Thermostats By Remote Control

Los Angeles Proposes a “Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation Fee”

San Fransisco May Ban Fireplaces

San Fransisco May Ban Water Coolers

And the list continually grows. There are three common themes here, banning, controlling, and taxing. All global warming legislation falls into at least one of those categories ans usually more than one.

It is time to put an end to this non-sense. With both presidential candidates behind this scam, along with the current president who signed a bill that will ban the incandescent light bulbs in favor of a light bulb that requires a HAZMAT team to clean up a broken light bulb, I don’t know how we can reverse the tide of global warming alarmism.

It is slipping away and Americans are either too ignorant, or just don’t care as long as Bush is out of office, to pay attention to what is going on here. By the time they wake up it will be too late.

 It already may be.

Republicans finally gave up the fight. 85% of Americans believe there is global warming and nearly 70% believe we are contributing to it. The battle of public opinion has been lost.

The liberal media has done a very good job of convincing people that we are the cause of global warming, although more than half of the world’s scientists (the ones who don’t have a financial stake in global warming) do not believe that humans can influence the temperature of the earth. Many will argue that the earth is actually begin a cooling period. Not a single scientist that does not support global warming has ever been interviewed by the major networks.

This is the single issue that makes me sick that McCain is the Republican nominee. Some of his other non-conservative views I can tolerate, since they have no direct effect on me. A close second is his stance (which seems to be changing) on ANWR.

You’re preaching to a very small choir, I’m afraid. Good post, however!

Yes, and the choir grows smaller and smaller each day. The public relations battle has been lost, I don’t know what else to do.
    Thanks for the compliment.

Unfortunately, global warming… whoops… climate change has become a religion. There is no debate, there is only propaganda. Last time I checked, the scientific method requires debate and experimentation if alternative explanations are proposed. However, if any scientist dares challenges the dogma, that scientist loses funding and is labeled a lapdog of big oil. Meteorologists are for all intents required to accept it or they lose their licenses – at least that was the threat (http://www.weather.com/blog/weather/8_11392.html).

Unfortunately, the younger generation has been brainwashed and I don’t see much hope that sanity is going to return. Personally, I don’t see environmentalists being happy until we return to the stone age.

That’s a great point, climate change has become a religion and in some cases even a propaganda filled following much like a cult.

Terrant, that is the worst part of this whole thing. The fact that our children are being brainwashed, they don’t know any other side. They are being taught that we (and they) are destroying the planet and that they must sacrifice for the common good.

And here we thought that they had removed religion from our schools.
