Barack Obama Says Immigration Agents are “Terrorizing” Communities

 All this time I thought that Barack Obama has said that the threat of terrorism has been exaggerated by angry right wingers for political gain. But now we find out that Obama does believe that terrorism is a threat and in fact it happens all the time right here in America.

 Only he believes that federal immigration officers are the terrorists and illegal immigrants are the victims.

“The system isn’t working,” said Obama, “when 12 million people live in hiding, and hundreds of thousands cross our borders illegally each year; when companies hire undocumented immigrants instead of legal citizens to avoid paying overtime or to avoid a union; when communities are terrorized by ICE immigration raids; when nursing mothers are torn from their babies; when children come home from school to find their parents missing; when people are detained without access to legal counsel.”

 First, they are living in hiding because they are here illegally. If they weren’t criminals they wouldn’t be hiding.

 Second, what is Barack Obama going to do about the companies who hire these illegals? Well, under his plan these people will be granted amnesty so the companies won’t be hiring illegals anymore.

 Third, he claims that immigration officers who are doing their job of trying to send the people out of this country who do not belong here are terrorizing people. According to this logic people who enforce any laws could be considered to be terrorizing the lawbreakers.

 “They are not terrorizing people. If you break the law, you can be detained and deported. Anyone could make the same argument about any other law enforcement. If I don’t pay my taxes, does it mean the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) is terrorizing me when they come to my house?”

 That’s what we have come to in this country. There are no consequences for bad behavior anymore. Everybody is a victim. Even criminals are victim of the people who are trying to enforce the law.

 This comment should not only be offensive to us angry right wingers, there is a group of people who should be even more offended. Legal, naturalized citizens of America. People who came here the right way, obeyed all the laws (including immigration laws) waited years and years to go through the process of becoming a citizen, worked hard and achieved this goal. Those are the people who should really be offended by this soon to be wide ranging amnesty program that will soon be implemented.

 Why should a person come here legally and go through the trouble of becoming a citizen when they can break into the country and be handed legal status? In a Barack Obama presidency illegals will be the victims of immigration terrorism. Federal immigration agents will be the bad guys, the terrorists, and illegals will be granted full amnesty.

 That is why we need to vote for John McCain, no wait a minute. McCain has the same immigration policy as Barack Obama. It doesn’t matter who we vote for, illegals will be granted amnesty while those who come here legally will still be waiting in line.

 Barack Obama and John McCain are the same candidate when it comes to immigration. There is no alternative, there is no stopping the amnesty.

 Now that is terrifying!
