Joe Biden has Ties to Tony Rezko
Barack Obama received a sweetheart land deal from his one time major fundraiser
and now convicted Tony Rezko, that is old news. But what is new news is the fact that Joe Biden has ties into this whole money laundering scheme. Joe Biden has been a friend of Joseph Cari, who just pleaded guilty to extortion, for thirty years.
Biden has described himself as a 30-year friend of a key figure in the Rezko trial who’s pleaded guilty to a federal extortion charge in Chicago and is awaiting sentencing.
So what was Cari’s crime?
In 2005, Cari admitted to taking part in an $850,000 kickback scheme that prosecutors say was part of a larger political fund-raising operation for Gov. Blagojevich overseen by Rezko, who was convicted in June of wide-ranging corruption involving state deals
Surely Joe Biden would condemn this criminal, wouldn’t he? Here is what Biden said about his longtime pal, Joe Cari:
“All I know is Joe Cari is a friend, and he’s an honorable guy, but I don’t know anything beyond that.”
He is an honorable guy? Joe Biden comes to this man’s defence and offers himself as a defacto character witness. They say that you can judge a man’s character by the company that you keep, and there is allot of truth to that. Judging by the company that Joe Biden has kept for thirty years I would say that his integrity has been soiled. We are to believe that Cari laundered and extorted all of this money and none of it ever went to Joe Biden? We are to believe that Joe Biden either had no knowledge of Cari’s dealings or did and didn’t care. Either way this indictment of Cari is an indictment on Joe Biden and his integrity, judgement, and questionable associations.
Have you ever heard of guilt by association? Joe Biden is guilty.

Republicans Talk About McCain
Mitt Romney – on McCain and the economy:
“I simply don’t think that the people of Florida are gonna say the nominee of our party ought to be a person who, on more than one occasion, has expressed lack of understanding of our economy at a time when the economy is the number one issue that people are talking about…”
Dr. James Dobson of Focus on the Family on McCain overall:
“I’m deeply disappointed the Republican Party seems poised to select a nominee who did not support a Constitutional amendment to protect the institution of marriage…who has little regard for freedom of speech…and has a legendary temper and often uses foul and obscene language…”
The conservative CATO Institute on McCain and Foreign Policy:
“John McCain on Foreign Policy: Even Worse Than Bush…
The foreign policy that John McCain now advocates is reckless and promiscuously interventionist. If he were a university student majoring in international relations or security studies, he would deserve a resounding F for his analysis of the crucial issues that the United States has confronted over the past 14 or 15 years”
Republican Senator Thad Cochran of Mississippi on McCain’s Temperment:
“The thought of his being president sends a cold chill down my spine…He is erratic. He is hotheaded. He loses his temper and he worries me.”
Former Republican Senator Bob Smith of NH on McCain and World Affair:
“His temper would place this country at risk in international affairs, and the world perhaps in danger. In my mind, it should disqualify him.”

As a Republican let me give you my take on John McCain:
He is a turncoat, a liberal, and a traitor to the party.

Why vote for someone who has links to corruption when you can have someone who was involved directly in a cover up? Or does the Keating Five not count any more? Of course, there are those questionable links with that lobbyist – Iseman.
That’s the problem with politics, especially Washington, you can’t spit without hitting someone who’s corrupt.
With as many attacks on Obama here, it’s hard not to think that you’re for President McCain. 🙂

I know it sounds like I am for McCain with the attacks on Obama, many of the people who comment here call him “my guy”, but I’m not. He is just in the news more. BTW, I did stop calling him President Obama in my posts, I couldn’t take it anymore. “President McCain” doesn’t sound much better. 🙂
