Joe Biden Admits Hillary Clinton Might Have Been a Better VP Pick

The biggest down side to Obama’s pick of Joe Biden as his VP pick is the fact that he tends to stick his foot in his mouth every so often. Every time Joe Biden speaks Democrats hold their breath and (the audacity of) hope that he doesn’t say anything stupid.

Today their hopes were dashed as once again Joe Biden put his foot in his mouth. He admitted that Barack Obama would have made a better choice if he had picked Hillary Clinton as his running mate. But he didn’t stop there, he admitted that she is more qualified than he is.

Make no mistake about this,” Biden responded. “Hillary Clinton is as qualified or more qualified than I am to be vice president of the United States of America. Let’s get that straight. She’s a truly close personal friend, she is qualified to be president of the United States of America, she’s easily qualified to be vice president of the United States of America and quite frankly it might have been a better pick than me. But she’s first rate, I mean that sincerely, she’s first rate, so let’s get that straight.”

Joe Biden has just admitted what disgruntled Clinton supporters have claimed is true. Barack Obama should have selected Hillary Clinton as his running mate. This race would be over. Joe Biden while attempting to compliment Hillary Clinton accidentally admitted that Barack Obama screwed up by not selecting Hillary. This has got to add more fuel to the fire of Hillary supporters who think that Barack Obama’s ego prevented him for selecting her.

Besides providing “proof” to Hillary’s supporters that Barack Obam should have chosen her, he also has provided more ammo for the McCain campaign.

Spokesman Ben Porritt  offered this response from the McCain camp: “Barack Obama’s most important decision of this election and Biden – the candidate he selects – suggests himself that he wasn’t the right man for the job and that Hillary Clinton would have been a better choice. Biden certainly has a credible viewpoint on this.”

This is really getting too good. Every time Joe Biden speaks Barack Obama’s poll numbers go down. And the best part of the whole deal is that Joe Biden just can’t shut up.

The Democrat party must cringe every time he speaks.

Remember what I said about having a Phil Gramm moment? This might have been it.

I do agree that Hillary would have been a better pick. However, I can think of several reasons why he shouldn’t/couldn’t.

I don’t think that Hillary was ever a serious option for Obama, but it would have secured the election. There would have been no chance to beat them.

Everyone is interested in the women’s vote, but most people are totally in the dark about HOW the suffragettes won votes for women, and what life was REALLY like for women before they did.

“The Privilege of Voting” is a new free e-mail series that follows eight great women from 1912 – 1920 to reveal ALL that happened to set the stage for women to win the vote.

It’s a real-life soap opera about the suffragettes! And it’s ALL true!

Powerful suffragettes Alice Paul and Emmeline Pankhurst are featured, along with TWO gorgeous presidential mistresses, First Lady Edith Wilson, Edith Wharton, Isadora Duncan and Alice Roosevelt.

There are tons of heartache on the rocky road to the ballot box, but in the end, women WIN!

Thanks to the success of the suffragettes, women have voices and choices!

Exciting, sequential episodes are great to read on coffeebreaks, or anytime.

If we want Hillary Clinton to become President in 2012 Barack Hussein Obama needs to lose this election.

If Obama wins and does well as President, then in 2012 people will just re-elect him and not vote for Hillary Clinton.

If Obama does horrible as President, then people will not vote for Democrats and will just vote for Republicans.

Thus, the McCain/Palin ticket has to win to ensure that Hillary Clinton becomes President in 2012.

On top of that, Sarah Palin as Vice President would excite more confidence towards people in having Hillary Clinton as President in 2012.

More and more prominent Hillary Clinton supporters are supporting McCain/Palin’08.

But if McCain/Palin wins this year and McCain doesn’t run for a second term that would leave Palin as the new leader of the Republican party. Palin would destroy Hillary one on one. So it is over for Hillary once and for all.
