UK Jury Verdict Justifies Vandalism to Stop Global Warming

 According to this UK jury, global warming poses such a threat that Greenpeace activists were justified in vandalizing a power plant.

Jurors accepted defence arguments that the six had a “lawful excuse” to damage property at Kingsnorth power station in Kent to prevent even greater damage caused by climate change.

 A lawful excuse to commit vandalism? Based on a political agenda? Make no mistake about it “climate change” is a political ideology, not a scientific fact. It is a theory being trumpeted by politicians and parroted by scientists who are afraid to lose their grant money.

 These jurists rendered their decision not on whether the defendants were guilty of a crime but on whether they thought the crime was justified. These defendants didn’t deny they committed the crimes, their defence was they were protected under the Criminal Damage Act 1971.

The defence of “lawful excuse” under the Criminal Damage Act 1971 allows damage to be caused to property to prevent even greater damage – such as breaking down the door of a burning house to tackle a fire.

The defence argued that the defendants stopped the world from suffering even more damage from global warming by vandalizing a power plant. What a perversion of the intent of the law. The leap of faith that is required to make the assumption that these people somehow stopped even more damage to the world with their crime is astounding. Yet that leap of faith was made. It shows you how ingrained this whole global warming THEORY has become.

 Lawlessness has been rewarded and now it is only a matter of time before more and more “green” crimes are committed. This verdict has now given radical extreme environmentalists a free pass to basically do whatever they want.

 Hell, they are just trying to save the world. Right?
