A Second Haditha Marine to Sue John Murtha

 You may remember the comments that Democrat John Murtha made about the Haditha marines while trying to make a statement about the Bush administration. In case you have forgotten he called basically the Haditha marines cold blooded killers and murderers. He made his comments before any of these marines went on trial. So much for innocent until proved guilty.

 All of the marines had the cases against them thrown out except for one. They have been cleared of any wrongdoing. Now another one of the marines that Murtha libeled is suing him. There is still another lawsuit from 2006 from a marine who is suing John Murtha.

 John Murtha was trying to use the Haditha marines as an example of how much pressure the troops were under because of the failed Iraq war policies of the Bush administration, but this was way over the line. He had so much hatred built up toward the president that he didn’t even realize the horrendous accusations he was making. He didn’t even realize that these troops had not been tried yet. He went on national television and libeled every one of these marines before they had due process. And it turns out now that all but one of them have been exonerated.

 I hope he gets what he deserves, he never even bothered to make an apology to these men.
