Florida Gun Sales up Because of Fear of an Obama Presidency

Florida residents, who understand that Barack Obama is against the second amendment, are buying guns before it becomes a crime under an Obama administration.
Here is where he stands on the second amendment:
- As a state legislator in Illinois, Obama supported banning the sale or transfer of all forms of semi-automatic firearms, increasing state restrictions on the purchase and possession of firearms
- He supported a “ban” on the sale and possession of handguns on a political questionnaire
- As state senator, he voted against a 2004 measure that allowed self-defense as an affirmative defense to those charged with violating local laws making it otherwise unlawful for such persons to possess firearms.
- He voted against allowing persons who had obtained domestic violence protective orders to carry handguns for their protection.
- Obama has also stated his opposition to allowing citizens to carry concealed guns and supports a national law outlawing the practice
Is it any wonder people are buying guns now before Barack Obama becomes president?

Umm – No . . .
I just filed for my concealed permit (FL) and bought a new handgun and a new shotgun (to compliment my current rifles and shotty) and lots of ammo –
why??
Cause I don’t trust either of them (Obama or McCain) to reign in the falling quality of life here in the US, and I’m preparing to defend my life, family, and property.
If I can hunt, fish, and grow my garden I’ll be fine. But I’ll protect what’s mine . . .

To be honest, the closer we get to the election the more concerned I get about the Dems enacting the Fairness Doctrine if they control both houses of Congress and the Presidency.

I’d bet my bottom dollar if Obama is elected you will see (1) The Fairness Doctrine, (2) Gun registration if not an outright ban, (3) Higher taxes on me and you (I don’t even make Biden’s threshold), (4) A smaller and weaker US military, and (5) A significant rise in Islamic influence in this country. All in the first 2 years.
Outside this country you will see Iran take over Iraq, probably the Taliban take over Pakistan, and Israel forced to accept an incursion of the Palestinians, likely with Obama led US encouragement to accept a “shared Jerusalem.”

I JUST BOUGHT MY WIFE A HANDGUN AND AN ADITIONAL HANDGUN FOR THE HOUSE BECAUSE OF OBAMAS RUN FOR PRESIDENT.
ONCE HE GETS IN HE HAS THE ABILITY TO CHANGE ANYTHING HE IS SAYING NOW. HE HAS TERRORIST TIES AND IF HE TIES AMERICANS HANDS WITH WEAPONS THAT IS THE FIRST STEP TO ANOTHER TERRORIST ATTACK.

“Once you go black you never go back”, Im sorry america but your never going to see a white president again. I own shotguns rifles & pistols in Ireland where left wingers have ruled for years and really dont want me to own a gun unless Im a criminal of course(then I might get sympathy). We elected a woman president almost 20 years ago and have never seen a man for the office since. Im watching the US to cause if you loose your guns, were next. Russia is the only power in the world today, outside of the US citizens. It was always feared the government would turn on the people by your founding fathers and they gave the posability to the peple to take back power by been armed. take it from an Irishman, A bully wheather in the playground or in the UN says the same thing, “stop hitting yourself”, How can a man be more secure after his security is reduced. But hey, thats the kinda contradictions that got Obama elected. America & Ireland are always in my prayers, My guns are always in my possession
