John Boehner calls Barack Obama “Chicken shit”

November 2, 2008

House Minority Leader John Boehner has been campaigning around the country for house Republicans and John McCain. During a stop he had this to say about Barack Obama’s voting record 9or lack thereof):

“Now, listen, I’ve voted ‘present’ two or three times in my entire 25-year political career, where there might have been a conflict of interest and I didn’t feel like I should vote,” Boehner said. “In Congress, we have a red button, a green button and a yellow button, alright. Green means ‘yes,’ red means ‘no,’ and yellow means you’re a chicken shit. And the last thing we need in the White House, in the oval office, behind that big desk, is some chicken who wants to push this yellow button.”

Needless to say this comment didn’t go over too well, even with the Republicans who were present. This is the type of comment that could come back to haunt Boehner and other Republicans as Democrats now have a rallying cry.

But the point that Boehner was trying to make is a good one. Barack Obama has consistently voted “present” on the toughest issues that he faced in his 140 days in the senate before he began his run for president. He has voted “present” 129, almost once a day.

“Obama consistently took a pass on making tough decisions and that’s just not something you can do as president,” said Don Seymour, director of communications for The Freedom project, a right wing political action committee.

That is the point that Boehner was trying to make and it is a legitimate one. How can a man who either was afraid to make a tough decision or unwilling to let the people know his true stance on a tough issue be expected to make a tough decision when he is in the White House?

How can this man be trusted when he has so cunningly hidden who he is and his true radical left agenda? All we know is that he offers change. He has promised everything to everybody and he can never deliver on all of his promises without taxing the shit out of all working Americans. Raising taxes is not a tough decision for him, we know where he stands. That is change, but it is not good change.

Barack Obama has this veil of secrecy around him. We are not allowed to discuss his past association, that is considered a personal attack. We are not supposed to mention his middle name. He has banned television stations from interviews if they ask tough questions. He has threatened other television stations with the loss of their FCC licenses if they run negative commercials about him. He has kicked reporters off of his plane because the newspapers that they write for endorsed John McCain. He will end free speech on the radio so anyone with a contrary opinion to his will never again have a voice to speak out. And he has carefully hidden his voting record by voting “present.”

It probably wasn’t helpful for Boehner to call Obama a chicken shit but you know what? Chicken shit is the best way to describe him.

Really, everything in OUR GOVERNMENT is black and white? EVERYTHING? You clearly know nothing about how our government works and how bills are created. You need to look no further all the claims both parties make against the other. So and so voted for this, didn’t vote for that. How about this scenario where you have a bill that everyone should be for, lets say “The no punching babies in the face bill” Of COURSE everyone is going to vote for it, until of course someone adds a rider that says we can punch grandmas in the face. If you vote against the bill one side says “so and so thinks we should be punching babies in the face” vote for it and then they say “so and so wants to punch grandmas. Voting present is the way ALL our elected representatives say, “I like this bill but it has some shit I just can’t vote for”. Its amazing that you really think that everything in our government should be just black and white, yes or no.
Gee I just bet you can almost hear the fat lady singing from your front door step. All these Rove tactics are about to go down in history as not working more than once.

So then it is OK for Obama just to refuse to make a decision? THat’s a pretty weak argument for someone who wants to be POTUS!!!!!

As a Novice to this blogging I just want to make a observation.
Since the congress and the senate make all the laws and decide on all appropriation for the country what makes you think that Obama will have any power at all. Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid will become the real source of power with Democratic majorities in both Houses. I can assure that they will not be taking orders from a junior senator from Illinois. Instead they will be issuing orders and Obama will comply to avoid confrontation just as he will do with our enemies around the world.

Do you see every Senator voting “Present” everyday? Face it, Obama is saying what he thinks you want to hear until he goes to another community where he tells them what they want to hear even if it contradicts what he just said. He was even doing that with his vote in the Senate. Why else does he refuse to answer questions? He can’t remember his last answer.

Everyone is talking around the world about how great obama and his changes are going to be. But I agree with Jim Wynne, in the fact he really doesn’t have any power as an individual. I mean he is just a good talker and let’s face it America needed a black man or a women to improve there reputation and make the world go oh everything will be different now cause of how he looks and the way he talks but he will be no different to any other bull shitting president that ever existed, he’s advisors around him and there influences whether it be money, power or popularity is what will dictate what will happen or change.

Jim, it’s a good point but they are all far leftists and I am sure Obama will have no problem pushing Pelosi and Reid’s agendas.

Common tater, he will no longer be able to vote present. It will be interesting to see now many of his supporters he manages to piss off once he starts to have a voting record.

Dumbama is a pathological liar. That is, given the opportunity to lie, he will do so. That is his nature; developed by long habit. Given his incipient megalomania, he believes his lies are reality because he sees himself as godlike; omnipotent, omniscient.

Obama should not be faulted for his refusal to produce a longform birth certificate, because he cannot do so.

You see, he was not born; he was farted.

Today, in March 2011, considering the present kinetic military action against Libya we now know that Obama is indeed “chicken shit”. Red=No war, Green=War, Yellow =kinetic military action.
    Barack, you are chicken shit.
