President Obama Suspends the Trials of September 11th Co-conspirators
Today President Obama signed an executive order to close GITMO even though he has no idea what the hell he is going to do with all of the terrorists that the United States is holding there. I suggest that he takes John Murtha up on his offer and send them to Pennsylvania.
As disturbing as that issue is there is another aspect to this that I find as disturbing. President Obama, dear leader, has also suspended the trials of five co-conspirators of the September 11th attacks, including the mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed.
These men do not have the rights guaranteed under the United States constitution, they are enemies of the United States. The United States constitution apples to American citizens, it isn’t a hard concept to understand.
While President Obama is thinking about what to do with the jailed terrorists and we learn that his sympathies lie with the well being of those evil men and how we are perceived as treating the enemies of the United States, it might do President Obama well to think about one other thing.
If it wasn’t for average American citizens on September 11th, the heroes of Flight 93, there is a good chance that that plane would have hit the White House. Just think about that Mr. President while your cute little girls are dancing and playing in your new home. Where do your loyalties lie, with the perception around the world of America or with the citizens of this country, including your little girls?

This article shows an ignorance of the U.S. Constitution. The Constitution is NOT just for American citizens. Many immigrants, documented and undocumented, commit crimes and are involved in litigation in this country every single day, and their rights are protected by the Constitution. Would you like this country to operate like Iran or North Korea, where outsiders are imprisoned without a legitimate hearing or due process? Is that the kind of country you want to live in? Finally, what makes you think that the Justice Department doesn’t know what it will do with detainees AFTER Gitmo is closed? Where are you getting your information? What about Ramzi Yousef? He’s not a citizen and he tried to blow up the World Trade Center back in 1993. He had an attorney, was tried, and is now in solitary confinement for life. You are so anxious to attack this administration that you have lost your ability to think rationally. Where do your loyalities lie, given that you are so eager to hurl nonsensical accusations at the President of the United States? Get out your dictionary and look up the word “sedition”.
