Stimulus Bill Passes Without Anyone Bothering to Read the Bill

February 13, 2009

President Obama is an impatient man. Part of this comes from his arrogance and part of it come from his narcissism. President Obama tried to become the fastest president in history to nominate and have his cabinet confirmed.

In his rush to be the fastest he obviously cut corners and didn’t do his homework and we have all seen and must acknowledge the disaster and political nightmare that has ensued from his impatience with regard to his cabinet nominees.

He hasn’t learned his lesson from that fiasco as he rushes to pass his stimulus bill. As the homework wasn’t done on his cabinet appointees he is pressuring the house and senate to pass this bill so quickly that they are not able to do their homework on this bill. Nobody has had a chance to even read the bill that they are now being pressured to vote on.

Nothing good can come from a bill that is hiding so much that the president is demanding a vote before anyone can look at the bill. Gone is the president’s promise to past this bill online so that the American people can see it. There is a reason for this. President Obama knows that if the American people knew what was in this bill they would never be in favor of it. He may also be afraid that if enough senator and representatives were actually given enough time to read this bill they might not vote for it.

Here is GOP leader John Boehner:

The President does not want to give enough time for people to place this Bill under scrutiny, because He knows that the Bill is little more than a tool to increase needless Government spending, and will have little if any benefit to the economy. His constant statements about the need to pass this Bill, or terrible things will happen was merely to gain support of the public–putting pressure on the Rep’s to “Not Stand in the Way”. Expect more of this “Hurry Up” agenda, the sooner the taxpayer is forced to rely on the government–the sooner the Citizen is under control of the Government!

The media will never call Obama on his broken promises (unless they can get a good headline out of it).

Shame on our elected Representatives and Senators for this bloated stick-it-to-the-taxpayer wealth redistribution, er, stimulus bill.

I’m promoting that video as well. I think as many people as possible need to see it. How much longer before even the Obamabots start to balk?

This is an American Tragedy in which we have sold our nations demoracy to a bunch of socialist liberals who want nothing more than to control all of us. We MUST TAKE A STAND before its too late.

I’m sorry but the thought that any elected official would sign of on this PayBack Package aka stimulus, or any bill, WITHOUT READING spells STUPIDITY in my book. What the heck happen to our elected officials. This is beyond drinking koolaid. This is insane! If you or I did this, we would be in a world of hurt.

Considering Obama said that the bill was so urgent why is the president waiting until Tuesday to sign the bill? Couldn’t the congress read the bill over the weekend and then voted on Monday? Oh yeah, Nancy Pelosi had a plane to catch. Priorities I guess.

EVERY single asshole that voted yes on that bill should be SHITCANNED! I don’t care if you are for or against socialism, the FACT remains that for a representative of “we the people” to vote ABSOLUTELY BLINDLY on ANY bill brought before them is dereliction of duty, and a bill this size, make that a GROSS dereliction of duty. I am positive that NOT ONE of them read that frigging 1000+ page trash pile before they voted. Anyone that says they did is a F###ING LIAR! They should ALL be impeached by “WE THE PEOPLE”!!!!!

Don’t be surprised when Obama rolls out yet another bill – probably TARP like on this coming Tuesday in Phoenix, AZ. I foresee a long line of bailouts/stimulus/pork/paybacks/whatever the heck you want to call them.

Joe, that is what the most frustrating part of this is, the fact that they could vote in good conscience for a bill that they didn’t even bother to read. In order to please Obama they blindly signed off on this bill. Obama is not even signing the bill unlit Tuesday, they could have waited until Monday to vote and at least looked thriugh it along with their aides.

Dominique, I heard that his new mortgage bailout idea that he will introduce on Tuesday is in the $80 billion range.
