John Boehner Calls the Climate Change Bill a Pile of Shit

June 28, 2009

When John Boehner was asked why he tried to filibuster the cap and trade bill by reading portions of the 300 pages of the bill which were  added right before the vote he replied thusly:

“Hey, people deserve to know what’s in this pile of shit.”

Finally a politician who tells the American people exactly what this bill is full of. Here is what one Democrat had to say about John Boehner’s attempt to read the bill in front of the house before members voted on it:

What do you expect from a guy who thinks global warming is caused by cow manure?

That was supposed to be a joke, an attempt to make fun of John Boehner but I have one question. Even if John Boehner did believe cow manure caused global warming would that be  any more ridiculous than believing any of the other “causes” that we are constantly being told cause global warming– including man? One more question I just thought of, would that be any more ridiculous than believing global warming was occurring in the first place?

Cow farts (aka methane) is more of a greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide (breathing, car exhaust, etc…)

Guess that’s a case for eating more meat and less beans.

I think the gas (hot air) that is coming out of our government is more dangerous than any other form of gas we may or may not have!

Hear! Hear! I know that the politicians are just looking for new and inventive ways to get more of the taxpayers money. But for people to believe this baloney?? To use a very old word, I believe it is heresy. God created the heavens and the earth, God controls the weather, and everything else, for that matter. Humans never could and never will have any effect on the planet. That is not for people to decide. CO2? Humans exhale it with every breath, every mammal does, right? Are we honestly to feel guilty for being alive? Think about it. Man was created in God’s image, not the other way around.

Boehner’s from my own state, from a district just a little north of me, and he’s to be commended for his last-ditch effort at exposing the ridiculous and dangerous nature of this cap-and-trade nonsense. We simply can’t afford this crap, and our already bleeding manufacturing sector will be completely eviscerated if the Senate passes it.

It must be nice to know that you have a good man representing your state, I don’t know what that feels like any more.

Yeah, I’m very satisfied with Mr. Boehner at the moment. Mike Turner is my own Representative, and he does a pretty good job too, as does his counterpart down the road, Steve Austria.

Our Senators are a completely different story. We have liberal nutjob Sherrod Brown and Crybaby George Voinovich, who is thankfully retiring and will hopefully be replaced by someone better. We’ll see how that one goes.

At least you have one house in order, here in New Hampshire we only have Judd Gregg in the senate who is okay. The rest are all moonbats.

Right On, Mr P/E- I’m liking this guy more all the time… makes me proud to have been from Ohio.

Obama claimed that the average American would not bear the brunt of this monstrous tax-increase: he stated that instead ““It is paid for by the polluters who currently emit dangerous carbon emissions.”

Just compare this outrageous falsehood to Ronald Reagans’ famous quote:

“The most dangerous myth is the demagoguery that business can be made to pay a larger share, thus relieving the individual. Politicians preaching this are either deliberately dishonest, or economically illiterate, and either one should scare us.

Business doesn’t pay taxes, and who better than business to make this message known? Only people pay taxes, and people pay as consumers every tax that is assessed against a business.”

And after the way the rammed this through the House with little debate, without legislators even reading it… and while quarantining the GOP from any meaningful input whatsoever, any foolhardy individuals who still believe Obama’s threadbare “bipartisanship” spiel ought to have their head examined.

How is it that more people don’t understand that a business will always pass the tax on to the people. ROnald Reagan was right, but to many people feel loke this will stick it to the big man when in fact they will be sticking it to themselves.

I vote for Mr. Pink Eyes to become the next governor of New Hampshire. Then we will see some butt kicking getting done. And talk about a balanced budget! Anyone want to second that!

It is really refreshing to see a congressman call it like he sees it..Honesty is the best policy.

I wrote letters to my congressional reps.and senators ( MD) on how reprehensible the passing of this bill was. The method of passing bills without reading them, without them being completed, and without giving citizens a chance to provide reasonable feed back before they vote on them is unnacceptable in this country….They are trampling our rights…By the way the P%$^&&S ‘s have so far blown me off…

All i have gotten in return to my letters is form letter replies. I specifically asked them not to send me form letters if they couldn’t be bothered to write about what I had actually written. The form letters did not reply to one consern that I voiced, leading me to believe that they don’t read the letters beyond the title.
