Obama’s Science Czar Touted Forced Abortions and Sterilization
Judging by the type of people that President Obama has hung around his whole life it should come as no surprise that President Obama would have some radicals in his cabinet. John Holdren, Obama’s “Science Czar”, is one such radical.
In the late ’70’s John Holdren touted forced abortions and sterilizations as well as total control of all natural resources; all to protect the planet. None of this came up in his confirmation hearing.
This is the kind of person that you expect leading a communist nation, not a member in the cabinet of a United States president. Holdren’s stance is about as radical as you can get, but considering President Obama refused to vote to save the lives of babies born alive who accidentally survived abortions, Holdren still may not be as radical as the president.
But I just have one question. If the issue of abortion is based on a woman’s right to choose how is forced abortion not a violation of that right? The woman is not choosing here, hence the term “forced.”
Maybe the act of the abortion is more important to these people than the woman’s right to choose. Remember all of the people who were saying that Sarah Palin should have had an abortion when she found out her baby was going to have downs syndrome? Her choice was to keep the baby, but the word choice to these people apparently means abort so Sarah Palin was said to have made the wrong choice. But it was HER choice and if she has the right to choose how could it have been wrong?
John Holdren has no business being in any cabinet position of an administration and he needs to step down immediately. It is a disgrace that anyone like Holdren, who holds such radical totalitarian views, is serving in the cabinet of a president of the United States. It is even more of a disgrace that our president evidently didn’t have a problem with these positions and nominated such a radical person in the first place, he doesn’t find these views to be radical?. But it may be still even more of a disgrace that none of these questions came up during his confirmation hearing, probably because they were hidden from congress until it was too late.

The biggest disgrace is that there is no uproar over this guy. You would think that this story would be huge. Not with today’s media.

There should be uproar over this now that the story is out there but the media just doesn’t seem to care.

What I would like to know is who was involved in his confirmation and why the republicans did not object at that time. I can imagine why the democrats ignored it. All of those bozos (both parties) need to have their feet held to the fire. Did they even bother vetting?

Either Democrats withheld or they themselves were not given the information or Republicans ignored it. Both of these options are disgraceful in my opinion.

Question: If these Czars are not elected by the people, and for some reason Obama is removed from office, can these people be fired? Can the people removed them before Obama leaves the White House? And lastly, are these Czar appointments even legal?

I’m sure that they can be fired and if they become too much of a political hot potato, he will fire them. I would hope that they are legal as the czars are not his invention but a continuation from previous administrations.

I think that Terrant is right, if the czar becomes too much of a problem he will let them go. I would not count on Obama being removed from office though. It is a nice thought, I am actually beginning to think that we would be better off with a President Biden. How scary is that?
