Building “Cloud Ships” to Stop Global Warming

August 7, 2009

cloud_ship I haven’t written anything on the lunacy that is the global warming movement in quite a while but when I read this story I had to break my silence. Some scientists in the United Kingdom and the United States are proposing that “cloud ships” be manufactured that would spew man-made clouds into the air to block the sun’s rays thereby stopping the warming of the planet.

This isn’t a totally new idea as it has been suggested before that we should spew pollution in the air to block the sun’s rays. Spewing pollution to save the earth from the pollution that is supposedly damaging the earth, I know it doesn’t make sense but this is the lunacy we are dealing with on this issue. But the idea of building “cloud ships” to block the sun’s rays to save the earth and the idea that spewing pollution into the air to block the sun’s rays in order to save the earth do have one thing in common. The objective is to block the sun’s rays. This is a slight admission on the part of the global warming alarmists that it is the sun that is heating the earth, in other words the heating of the earth is natural and not man-made.

   What a novel concept.

    Hi Steve,
While I agree with you that the global warming/climate change scam is a great big crock of steaming shit with the sole purpose of furthering government control so that they can more efficiently rob the common man, I have to poin out that you have presented this particular argument against it in the wrong way. (How’s that for a run-on sentence, eh?
Carbon dioxide is a so called green house gas, and as such traps the sun’s heat. So there is no debate about where the heat is coming from. We are not actually waring our atmosphere by man made latent heat, and the Goregones are not yet claiming that we are. They just think that we are creating enough green house gas to trap more heat than we should. Which is a very arrogant claim. The earth is bigger than that, it is a self correcting system beyond our control.
What is funny about this story is that water, in the form of clouds or steam or what ever, is an even more effective green house gas. Clouds trap more heat than they block, and that is very basic, first year climatology. Now, I don’t think that we could actually create and sustain enough cloudform to do anything to the atmosphere, again very arrogant of them to think that they could, but it is still dangerous as it provides yet another avenue for taking our money to fight to save the planet.
I very much enjoy your blog and appreciate that there are guys, and gals, out there speaking out against what is happening to our country. Keep up the good work.

Thank you and you made some great points. How is making clouds to block the sun’s rays going to help if that will also trap greenhouse gasses in? These people just aren’t even making sense any more. (If I give them the benfit of the doubt and say that they made sense in the first place.)

Here is another idea that someone had: spewing sulfur dioxide into the atmosphere. Correct me if I am wrong, isn’t that a component of acid rain?

Acid rain, now that is a blast from the past. You don’t hear much about acid rain anymore, it went in the same direction as global cooling did.

That’s just great. Will the sailors be on the ships for a long time? That way, we can bring back ricketts and scurvy in one fell swoop! YAY, ricketts!
