Some Democrats May be Wavering on Healthcare Reform

August 14, 2009

Amidst loud protesters and angry emails and phone calls at least two freshmen Democrat congressmen may be wavering in their support of the president’s healthcare reform bill.

The majority of Americans oppose this legislation that is being rammed down our throats and we are not being silent about it. We are being heard. Support for this bill in congress seems to be wavering, we must keep the pressure on our senators and congressmen. Now is not the time to sit back and relax. Two Democrats may be wavering but that is not enough, we must make them all think twice about supporting this bill.

We can stop this bill if we just keep pressuring our representatives. Our representatives will feel obligated to vote with the party under threats made by party leadership. Party leaders will threaten the people that are supposed to represent us with a lack of funding. But we must let them know that voting against our will will be more devastating to their careers than the threat that party leaders will not support them.

If there is one thing that our representatives want it is to remain in power and if they feel that we are serious and will vote them out in 2010 if they vote yes on this legislation they will vote against it. But we must not let this opportunity pass, if they feel comfortable they will vote the party line.

Please continue to call, write, and email your representatives every day and voice your extreme displeasure with this legislation, it is the only chance that we have to stop it.

Support for healthcare reform is crumbling, we need to keep pushing the offensive on our representatives. Remind them that they work for us, not the president.

If we continue to be loud enough we can defeat this legislation.

It seems like the tide is turning on this issue. Most people are happy with the plans they have and don’t want to change. On top of that this new government plan is certainly a “pig-in-a-poke”. No one knows whats in those 1000 pages and the cost—well thats another story.

Glad to see you back from vacation, hope you had a nice change of pace. I’m been busy here—got a new computer–transferring files, etc, what a job!

We had a relaxing vacation, thanks. I think that the tide is turning on this issue also, as long as our congressmen listen to us. If they go against us and fall in line with Obama they will all be out of jobs next year. The big question is, who will they feel more obligated to listen to; the people or the president?

The Dems are seeing through the Poser in Chief, how much lower can you go? When the members of your own party are calling you out on your Obamanure??

P.S., while you were on vacation I did a self help study, I am no longer saying BULL SHIT. Now I say Obamanure…

So, if you see Obamanure, just think BULL SHIT and we’re on the same page…

Nothing like cleaning your act up!!

I hope the trend continues. “Who do they think they are?” Really— remember– when the government fears the people……!!!! They will not win this one. Yay, 2010 is getting closer, can you feel it?

Oh yeah! I can feel it, I think the trend is going to continue. Now Obama may be willing to drop the “public option” from the bill. The worm is turning!

Yep, the worm is indeed turning, only problem here is that the worm is always turning–thats the American political system.
