Michelle Obama’s “Sacrifice” to bring the Olympics to Chicago
Michelle Obama has made what she calls a sacrifice by flying to Denmark on Air Force One on the taxpayer’s dime. Flying to Europe is a sacrifice that she is willing to make, wait for it, for the children.
When flying to Europe free of charge on Air Force One is a sacrifice I guess I just don’t understand the meaning of the word sacrifice any more. We have been told by the left that Americans would have to sacrifice in order to save the planet from global warming. We have been told we would have to stop driving SUV’s and other gas guzzling cars as a sacrifice to the environment but now we have the First Lady claiming that by flying to Denmark in a private jet that she is the one making a sacrifice.
While many Americans drive SUV’s out of necessity, driving their children back and forth to soccer, baseball, and football practice, and are being asked to sacrifice in the name of a greater good, Michelle Obama calls a joyride to Europe which must do much more serious damage to the same environment that Americans are being asked to sacrifice for a sacrifice that she is willing to make for the children.
I guess I just don’t understand the disconnect here.

GWB “sacrificed” thousands of soldiers’ lives so that his oil buddies could get rich from a war that should never have been started in the first place. Heckuva job Georgie. What a “sacrifice” you made.

As for my handle on the real issues in the country, I write about all the issues but sometimes I write about issues that are not as important– such as this one. But the strange thing is, it is posts like this one that get the most traffic. And the early returns on this post prove that true again. It says just as much about you that you chose to search this topic and respond to me than it does about me that I chose to write about it.

Here we have the First Lady and she is but one example of most of our elitist politicians telling us one thing yet doing the very opposite herself.
Its called Hypocrisy… the act of pretending to have beliefs, opinions, virtues, feelings, qualities, or standards that one does not actually have …
Here we have Jack telling us that while we are being expected to “Sacrifice” and our Government officials use it to grab power, it has nothing to do with bringing down the country.
I bet Jack here was crying when Bush had a deficit of 700 Billion
I’m sure he thinks nothing about his buddy Obama with a projected deficit of 1.7 Trillion
And how many lives has his buddy Obama “sacrificed” in just the few days while he’s waffling on Afghanistan? 43.
But in Jack minds that is nothing compared to 8 years of BUUUUUSSSSSSHHHHH

Phew! good place for the olympics. And I don’t think being concerned about a completely wasted 190,000 smackeroos of taxpayers money and 14 hrs of a wartime president’s time is a “dumb thing to complain about”. OOOOOHHHH he spent an entire 30 minutes with General McChristol. Priorities? Where are they, President Obama? Where?
