Sheriff Arpaio defies Homeland Security; continues to arrest illegal aliens
My new hero, Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who was ordered by Janet Napolitano and Homeland Security to stop arresting illegal immigrants is still defying the federal organization and is still conducting widespread sweeps against illegal immigrants. He remains defiant, claiming that the federal government lacks the power to stop him from performing this aspect of his duty as an elected official of Arizona.

He is facing charges of racial profiling because he is arresting Mexicans who cross the Mexican border illegally. The criticism is mounting by immigration special interest groups who claim that this he is doing this to protest the Obama administration.
He is doing this to thumb his nose at the Obama administration,” said Lydia Guzman, president of the Hispanic civil rights group Somos America
Apparently it doesn’t matter to this group that all of the people that this brave sheriff are here illegally. This groups is equating Sheriff Arpaio to the KKK for his attemp to administer the law.

Such is life in the United States under this administration’s version of Homeland Security.
Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s policies have been highly effective– that is what these groups and Homeland Security don’t like. This administration is extremely soft on illegal immigration and the fact that Sheriff Arpaio’s policies have returned positive results is what is at issue here. They don’t care that he has been effective, they want him to stop arresting illegal aliens because they want illegals to come to America.
Here is hoping that Sheriff Arpaio remains defiant in front of withering criticism and continues to do the job that the people af Arizona elected him to do. The vast majority of the American people support Sheriff Arpaio and his efforts to stem the tide of illegal immigrants. The federal government may not be behind this man’s effort but the American people are.

Let’s see now, they are claiming the good Sheriff is doing this to thumb his nose at the Obama administration? I seem to recall him doing this a long time before Barack Obama moved into the White House. However, that is a moot point for me.
These people are breaking our laws by coming into America illegally. Does that not matter to the folks who are in power in Washington? Since when should they be able to just ignore the law, enforcing only the parts of it they agree with?

Apparently it does not matter to Homeland Security that these people have already broken the law, they want to wait until they have committed a second crime before they arrest them. That crime would be committed against a United States citizen, it seems to me that the time to arrest them would be before they committed a crime against a US citizen.

Aparently, it is US citizens who are now 2nd class citizens.
After all, don’t we get arrested the FIRST time we commit a crime? Aren’t we charged and booked and put in the slam until we come up with bail or whatever?
So now the illegals don’t have to account for THEIR first crime… entering the US?
I think THIS is what’s bothering me most of all… the clear preference given to the illegals.

Sheriff Joe is a true American hero. Our nation is being invaded by millions of foreign nationals, this is an act of war! Anyone that thinks these are just migrant workers looking for jobs is dead wrong. More than 50,000 Americans have been killed by illegal drunk drivers and murdered by illegal gang-bangers. There are over 20 million illegal aliens in the US, while there are 15 million unemployed Americans. Illegal immigration costs the US more than 350 billion annually. Illegal immigration is directly responsible for 3rd world diseases being spread, urban blight, overpopulation, depressed wages, overcrowded schools, higher taxes, high cost of healthcare, hospital closures, overcrowded prisons, and draining of social resources meant for citizens. The US can’t support the poor and uneducated of the entire world. Countries like Mexico can’t dump their unwanted citizens onto the backs of the American taxpayers. This isn’t about race or country of origin. It’s about obeying our laws, taking responsibility for yourself and not expecting handouts. We are bankrupt, BROKE! Americans will NEVER accept another amnesty. You are welcome to immigrate here if you do so legally and desire to become an American. If not, stay where you are and better your life in your country. The free ride is over. American generosity has been taken advantage of until we are now seeing our nation becoming the same 3rd world country these illegals fled from. Legal immigrants are welcome. LD Jackson said it. Sheriff Joe was doing this long before Obama was installed. Illegal aliens have a slew of ethno-advocacy groups standing up for them, many funded by U.S. tax dollars. Who do the American people have? Joe Arpaio. Anybody else?

We as US citizens have a real conundrum going on.
It seems as though the only way to stop all the madness going on is to stop paying taxes altogether.
Dishonest people like all the advocacy groups and liberal politicians are using our tax dollars like a silken cord to strangle us.
Cut off the funds and you think Liberals will use their own money? HA!
I know we need the military and it is the military that are doing the right thing in just about every case and they need our tax dollars.
It just gets so madding it makes me want to go Galt!

I have given a lot of thought to the “not paying taxes.” If a majority of Americans did that, I think the results would be swift and final. The question that begs to be asked however, is can we do it? Would a majority of us choose to do so and is it possible to NOT pay our taxes?
I would think we have a Constitutional leg to stand on since the powers that be are doing things well outside of their Constitutionally given powers.

I don’t know if we can do it, at least those who work for companies. With the income taxes being withheld automatically I don’t know if we can opt out of the automatic deduction. If we ever were able to do it it certainly would send a shockwave through Washington, wouldn’t it?
