ACORN to dissolve as a national structure?
Word is now coming out that the corrupt organization known as ACORN is being “dissolved as a national structure,” or at least it is in the process of dissolving as a national structure. So, is this the end of ACORN as a corrupt liberal political force? Hardly.
All this means is that ACORN is renaming its state offices to appear to disassociate itself with itself, if that makes any sense. ACORN will be conducting business as usual, just under different names in different states.
ACORN is fighting a losing battle and they know it, the American people understand what this organization has been up to. ACORN can no longer defend its actions so they are attempting to disappear from the political scene but in truth they are going nowhere. They will still be active under new names all across the country and nothing will change. By changing their name and dissociating themselves with the national ACORN organization local factions of this organization are hoping to keep the money rolling in from congress.
Barack Obama and the Democrats in congress will be all too willing to keep up this charade also. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

I wonder if they will call themselves XCorn. Seems like a fad for unpopular corporations to change their name to something starting with an X.

I am not sure what you are talking about, but if you take the “R” out of their name also we would have Xcon. That sounds about right.

You got it exactly. They will just change the name and continue to apply-or be awarded taxpayer dollars. They get caught engaging in criminal activity and just splinter off and become something else, and the process starts all over.

Nothing is going to change, they are basically going underground.

This is the typical “progressive” solution to being rejected or discovered. Rename, restructure, repackage-business as usual.

Go into hiding and hope nobody notices, that is all they are attempting to do here. But we will be watching.

Shoot… Why didn’t I think of that. For reference, Blackwater is Xe and Comcast is becoming Xfinity.

Ah, okay. I didn’t know these companies were changing their names. I can tell you first hand that Comcast is not very popular with me.

They will resurface, maybe *float* is a better way to say it…

“An ACORN by any other name is still a Acorn”. I agree they will repackage and continue their fraud and corruption. However losing a name and a logo is no small matter and it will cost them some support–they will not emerge from this as strong. That said, the group whatever it calls itself in the future will get massive support from progressives and they will continue on their merry way!

I hope you are right, even if they are just a little weaker it is a good thing!

Okay, they are going to ‘dissolve’ the national organization…cough…cough…but aren’t they now international? I believe they now have offices in Europe.
So this ‘dissolving’ ..cough…cough…is just a ruse.

Very true, they are just trying to hide from the bad publicity, there really aren’t going anywhere.
