IRS will need to hire 16,500 new employees to implement healthcare reform mandates
As if the American people needed any more reasons to oppose the healthcare reform bill that Barack Obama will sign into law tomorrow, we are now learning that the IRS will have to add as many as 16,500 new employees just to keep up with the new tax increases and mandates that are in the bill.
A new analysis by the Joint Economic Committee and the House Ways & Means Committee minority staff estimates up to 16,500 new IRS personnel will be needed to collect, examine and audit new tax information mandated on families and small businesses in the ‘reconciliation’ bill being taken up by the U.S. House of Representatives this weekend. …
Scores of new federal mandates and fifteen different tax increases totaling $400 billion are imposed under the Democratic House bill. In addition to more complicated tax returns, families and small businesses will be forced to reveal further tax information to the IRS, provide proof of ‘government approved’ health care and submit detailed sales information to comply with new excise taxes.
I really don’t think that I need to elaborate on that any more, it says it all.

What irritate me is: I swear the news report on the radio this morning during ad break was more truthfully harsh about the effects of this healthcare bill. Now that it has passed, and nothing can be done about it. They report featured a Dr. who has “chills down his spine,” wondering what effect this will have on his practice, and it was said the small businesses “may have to make tough decisions” regarding insurance coverage now. WTF?
It was all rainbows and unicorns before it was passed.

I’m seriously going to have to call my doc. He’s really good, but he has a small practice, and is close to retirement. It would really suck to have to find a new doc at this point.

I predict that the end og CAPITALISM is near!.. If Africa, Asia, South America and the United States go COMMUNIST don’t blame him. Barack Obama is not responsible for famines the US, Asia, or epidemics in Africa. It’s not his fault that the average of American erns in this time and age… $7.00/$10.00 per hour and the South American 75 cents a day. All he will do is predict the consequences. But the countries themselves don’t have the economic resourses to make these changes.
The United Nations doesn’t. Even the United States doesn’t.
They need the help of world industry. Particularly the U.S. industry.
Industry is in an ideal position to do this. It can deal directly with the people of a country. It can change their lives an a way no Government can.
A government need to increase production, raise wages, hired doctors, nurses, teachers; expand schools; built clubhouses; hospitals, provided FREE MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE and medicines at no cost; financed housing loans and help set up cooperative stores.
And then the people joined in. They rebuilt their own homes, paid for their own teachers, built and opereted their own store and, revitalized the whole country.
Imagine this kind of success multiplied by tens of thousands of companies all over the United States, Asia, Africa, and South America.
The deeds of industry may well be as important as the gospel of “Democracy”.

This number is the exact same number that the Heritage Foundation made up when they did their “analysis” of the CBO.
Although some new hires would be in order there is not going to be 165000 newly minted IRS agents black helicoptering in to get that $95.00 fine from folks who foolishly don’t want insurance.
From the Washington Post: “The law specifically says that no criminal action or liens can be imposed on people who don’t pay the fine. If this actually leads to a world in which large numbers of people don’t buy insurance and tell the IRS to stuff it, you could see that change. But for now, the penalties are low and the enforcement is non-existent”
