Barack Obama’s aunt granted asylum in Boston
It isn’t surprising that an illegal immigrant would be granted asylum in Boston, and it is doubly unsurprising when you learn that that illegal immigrant is the aunt of the president of the United States.
Today Aunt Zeituni, who has been living in public housing at the expense of tax paying Americans, was told that she could stay in the country. Aunt Zeituni was denied asylum and ordered to be deported in 2004, yet she remained on the public dole all of these years. Now suddenly she re-applies for asylum now that her nephew is president and the next thing you know it is granted. What a strange coincidence.
Barack Obama claimed that he had “no idea” that his aunt was living in the United States illegally– which wasn’t exactly true— and the White house is claiming that he had nothing to do with this decision. And maybe he didn’t have anything to do with it directly, but you will never be able to convince me that the court didn’t take into account who her famous nephew was before handing down this decision.
What a great country, you can live here illegally for years after you have been ordered to be deported, and then be rewarded for your insolence. Why again does Barack Obama want to “fundamentally change” it?

What exactly was she seeking asylum from? Was she a political refugee? Was her life threatened? (Just wondering…) I haven’t been keeping up on this at all.

That is the million dollar question. The records remain sealed and Aunt Zeituni refuses to say what ground she was seeking asylum on. SHe was denied asylum in ’04, there is only one thing that has changed since then.

I’m sure that Barack has a fond closeness for his Auntie and would do anything for her, that is anything short of financial aid! Heck he knows full well the government will do that. He’s good at giving away others money, but like most liberals when it comes to his own—well you know the story.

What is it with everyone around Obama having their records sealed? If that doesn’t allude to possible criminal activity!
I’m not surprised her status was changed. I think even if it was Bush or any other president it probably would have been the same.

Bush has an illegal relative living in the United States! Just kidding.
I heard a theory that the reason Obama was keeping his birth certificate sealed was so that people would think he had something to hide, and if they persued that, it would distract them from the real issues and he would be able to more easily pass his agenda while painting his opponenets as whack jobs. Having said that, and with the news that his social security card came from Connecticut, I am beginning to believe there is more to this story than we know.

I would like to see those records and learn exactly what has changed with her status. I would tend to believe that nothing has changed and she is being given legal status because of her relationship to President Obama. I am not saying I even have a problem with that, I just wish they would be honest about what they are doing and why.
