Former White House visitor is target of FBI terror probe

October 2, 2010

“The U.S. and Israel will continue to describe Hamas, Hezbollah and the other Palestinian and Lebanese resistance organizations as ‘terrorists,’ but the real terrorists are the governments and military forces of the U.S. and Israel,” Abudayyeh said. “The vast majority of the world sees and understands this, and are in full support of Lebanese, Palestinian and worldwide resistance to Israel and the U.S.’s naked aggression, war, imperialism and occupation

Those words were spoken by Hatem (I didn’t make that name up) Abudayyeh, a man described as an Arab activist who belongs to an organization called  the Arab-American Action Network. The official goals of this Chicago based group are to work on local community  issues and immigration reform.

But in 2003, the AAAN sponsored a dinner for  Rashid Khalidi–a former spokesman for the PLO–a dinner that Barack Obama just happened to speak at–and according to reports the anti-Israel theme was quite heavy. It seems that there might be more to this group than meets the eye.

Last April Hatem Abudayyeh visited the White House as part of Barack Obama’s Muslim outreach effort and last week the FBI raided his house.

No details have been released as of yet and Hatem Abudayyeh has not yet been charged with a crime, but we do know this investigation revolves around  Minnesota and Chicago. We also know that part of the grand jury subpoena is focused on:

“all records of any payment provided directly or indirectly to Hatem Abudayyeh, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (“PFLP”) or the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (“FARC”).”

The PFLP and FARC have both been designated as terrorist organizations, what is Abudayyeh’s connection with them?

In Hatem Abudayyeh we have a man with strong anti-Israeli views, a man whose organization once sponsored a dinner for a PLO spokesman, and a man who has called the United States and Israeli governments the real terrorists in the world.

While there are no charges against Abudayyeh as of yet, he has now become a target of the FBI and his home was raided in what appears to be an investigation into some sort of money funneling scheme–possibly even  to  Hezbollah.

And this man was allowed into the White House as part of Barack Obama’s Muslim outreach program? What are these people thinking about?

This raises some hairy questions for the administration. The problem is, there isn’t anyone to ask the hard questions. Maybe FOX will, but other than that, this story will be covered by us, and that’s about it.

So true Matt, it sounds quite a bit like the election doesn’t it? These people just keep covering for him.

Yeah. Another shady character visited the White House? Kind of like that “other” Malik Shabazz.

We’ll see in November and in ’12 how many are listening to the MSM, and how many are not . . . .

I am sure this is “another” Hatem Abudayyeh also, that is such a common name. I am sure this is all a big misunderstanding. 🙂
