Will Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden swap positions for the 2012 election?

October 5, 2010

In a sign of how desperate Barack Obama and the Democrats have become–even before the mid-term election–it is now being reported that there is a possibility Barack Obama will continue to shake up his staff when he runs for re-election in 2012 by replacing Joe Biden on the ticket with Hillary Clinton.

When asked during an interview whether there is a possibility that Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden might switch cabinet positions for the 2012 election Bob Woodward said, “it’s on the table.” This would appear to suggest that this scenario has been talked about at some point within the Obama regime.

And Bob Woodward is not alone:

Some of Hillary Clinton’s advisers see it as a real possibility in 2012

With the exception of black voters–who according to a recent poll, still support Barack Obama by 93%–Barack Obama is losing support among virtually all demographics, something needs to be done if he wants to have any chance of winning re-election and it appears as if this could be an option that the Obama regime takes a good look at leading up to the 2012 election.

President Obama needs some of the women, Latinos, retirees that she did so well with during the [2008] primaries and, so they switch jobs, not out of the question

Looking even further into the future–as the article I linked to above does–this scenario would then set up the possibility of Hillary Clinton running for president in 2016. But here is the problem with this; instead of trying to win back supporters through policies, the Democrats seem to be looking into the future to see what ticket offers them the best chance to win re-election. They are sifting through which candidates do the best with the demographics that the president is losing instead of offering solutions to the problems facing our country.

The best way for Barack Obama to get re-elected would be to DO something with which the people agree and show the people that he is working on the issues and not worrying about who his running mate will be. Barack Obama and the Democrats wouldn’t be in such dire straits if they did not pass so many unpopular laws against the will of the people.

It is time for Barack Obama to realize that the people are rejecting his policies and he simply cannot dress the wounds by changing his running mate while at the same time pursuing policies that the public have already rejected.

It is also time for Barack Obama to stop blaming everybody else in his cabinet for all of his problems; he needs to look in the mirror and realize that HE is the problem and until he starts listening to the will of the people there is nothing that he can do which will bring the people back to him. It doesn’t matter who his running mate is and if he thinks this is the biggest problem election-wise he has moving forward he is in for a rude awakening in 2012.

Hillary Clinton on the same ticket as Barack Obama? That’s a scary thought, indeed.

She is just as dangerous as Obama, just a differfent flavor. If Obama is in the low 40s a year out he will drop Biden and go with Hillary. He will see it as his only chance to win. That’s my prediction.

I think that is a very likely scenario. The Dems will pull out all the stops in 2012.

This band of moonbats and ne’er do wells has got to go… Biden is a MORON, and WWIII would indeed be an immediate threat… But I don’t think Hillary would take a VP job unless she has a *hit* already in the works, she doesn’t want to be VP, she wants *The BIG Enchilada*…

The talk was that this would set her up for a run in 2016, but I wouldn’t be surprised if she ran against Obama in 2012. I think she still has presidential aspirations.
