John Kerry to hold gala event to celebrate himself

November 27, 2010

When one thinks of the typical Washington insider, elitist, out of touch with ordinary Americans politician, one thinks of John Kerry. And a perfect example of his self-aggrandisement is in full display with this story about a gala event that John Kerry is planning to hold for himself in an effort to fatten his re-election war chest that is already the largest in the nation.

John Kerry is going to hold a campaign fundraiser–in which tickets go for as much as $4,800–to celebrate his 25 years in the Senate and 45 years as a “public servant.” This is not an event that is being held by another party in John Kerry’s honor, that would be understandable, but rather John Kerry is holding this event for himself. Is it any wonder that many Americans (outside of the state of Massachusetts) think this man is nothing more than a pompous blowhard?!

Barack Obama might be the most arrogant, self-centered, egotistical politician in the United States today, but John Kerry is a close second.

I couldn’t agree with you more. I just hope the American people will realize the mistake they made with Obama and not repeat it with Kerry. We need to vote for the man that we feel will do the most for our nation, not just blindly follow a certain political party.

I heard in the grapevine somewhere these two are actually twins! LOL! Bad joke. 🙂

I think this is a sad essay on this epoch of American politicians. It is what stokes the fire of the Tea Party and every Constitutional loving American.

Part of me wants to tell these progressives to keep this up. The more they do this stuff, the more Americans wake up and get ticked off.

Another part of me, however, wonders if the time has not come upon ‘we the people’ to draw a line in the sand and say, ‘this far, and no more.”

I think your first instinct is right, let them keep it up because all this will do is ensure their defeat in 2012.

Besides being egotistical, he is a liar as well. He is running scared……….and gawd……like pigs to the trough, they all come.

Lurch not long on shame, is he?

I used to say Heinz catchup was without equal, and maybe it still is… but I haven’t bought it since 2004, I absolutely hate this scumbag Kerry and his idiot wife

And I’ve found more than suitable replacements for Heinz products, no problem at all

I also haven’t bought Heinz in years, I thought I was the only one puposely boycotting it! I notice that most restaurants carry it however, so I am forced to use it there.
Thank you for featuring me this week on your blog and yes I had a great Thanksgiving, today is the last day and then it is back to work tomorrow.

Maybe he’s trying to raise money to pay the taxes on his yacht?

Good point! Barack Obama is a much better salesman than John Kerry. Obama managed to sell himself to the American people as a person who understands the middle class and that was something that John Kerry was never able to do!

John Kerry is sure to drown if he gets caught out in the rain. He can’t help it, with his nose stuck straight up in the air. I think you are right, Steve. He runs a very close second to President Obama.

I think that Barack Obama and John Kerry are two of the most arrogant politicians in America today. They are both elitists who have a certain disdain for the American people that I find deplorable.

Look at the bright side, he could have been President. I wonder, did he ever pay the taxes on his boat? Maybe this little fund raiser could help him out a bit.
