Nancy Pelosi claims that it is Bush’s fault Democrats lost the House last November

January 7, 2011

Showing yet again that she still just doesn’t get it, Nancy Pelosi claimed that the reason why the Democrats lost the House under her leadership last November was not because of her poor leadership, but rather because of former President Bush.

She claims that the Democrats lost because the unemployment rate was at 9.5% right before the election, and she claimed that it was Bush’s fault that the unemployment rate was that high–which led to Democrat defeats in the House.

Forgive me if I am wrong but hasn’t President Bush been out of office for two years? And wasn’t BARACK OBAMA’S stimulus bill supposed to keep the unemployment rate under 8%? If the answer to both of those question is yes then how can Nancy Pelosi say with a straight face that President Bush’s policies led to her downfall when she supported Barack Obama’s failed economic policies?

Barack Obama and the Democrats came into office with the promise that they had the solutions to fix the economic problems which the country faced and the economy has only worsened with Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi’s policies and she has the gall to blame a man that left office years ago? Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and all of the other Democrats passed legislation which was supposed to fix the economy–they now own the economy and all of its woes because their policies not only failed to help the economy, they also hurt the economy.

The blame Bush strategy may have worked in 2006 and 2008 but the Democrats had full control with veto proof majorities for the last two years and they did nothing to solve the problem–the only people that still think the blame Bush strategy is effective are Nancy Pelosi and the far left people who vote for these anti-business, anti-America politicians.

The rest of America–a vast majority of Americans–understand that Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi had their chance to fix the economy and they failed to do so; but at the same time that the Democrats were ignoring the economic plight of many Americans they became distracted with passing a radical healthcare bill those most Americans objected to and that is the real reason why the Democrats lost the House.

The American people rejected Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama last November; their lost of the House had nothing to do with President Bush and had everything to do with a party which misread the election results of 2008 and tried to pull the country too far to the left.

And once again Nancy Pelosi is misreading the results of an election–this time the election of 2010–and if she continues to misread the mood of the American people Democrats will be in for another surprise in 2012.

I am actually glad that she made this asinine statement because it offers further proof that she is way out of touch with mainstream America and if she continues to make such statements conservatives–and thusly America–will be better off for it after the election of 2012 when Democrats lose big time again.

Steve, you know how they throw around terms like “birthers” and “Truthers.” Well maybe we have found a new class of nut jobs who absolve themselves of any responsibility for their job killing economic policies,ill-advised decisions, and a lack of any sort of leadership abilty made by President Obama and the Democratic controlled congress by blaming all of America’s woes on George Bush…We should call them “Bushers.” Nancy Pelosi is a” Busher.” I like it!

Good grief, this woman is an idiot. How much longer do they think they can get away with piling all of their problems at the feet of the man called Bush? I have always said that they would have to start taking some responsibility for their actions, sooner or later, but I am beginning to wonder if they will ever stop blaming Bush.

I like John’s suggestion. Busher sounds like a good term for them.

I don’t think they have any intention of taking responsibility. I actually think they are going to try to run against Bush again in 2012. They will claim that Bush’s policies were so bad that it is going to take another four years of Obama to bail out the country.

I just read yesterday that Obama’s has told his team that the focus from here to 2012 is growing the economy. Somehow I definitely see Bush coming up as the reason for it not happening by 2012 or if it is crawling forward.

You know, you responded to my delusional comment with denial and the more I think about it the more I think lying is appropriate. This is all a chess game for them. They are trying to stay one move ahead of us in order to complete and radically take American apart and reconstruct her into something she never intended.

This is intentional, purposefuly and outright manipulative. Thus, these people are really saying whatever untruth they think will sway the masses over to their side.
