Hillary Clinton to step down as Secretary of State because America’s Nero fiddles as Rome burns

March 17, 2011

The Middle East is on fire, Japan has suffered an earthquake which could lead to a nuclear meltdown, gas prices are rising, the economy is still fragile, and America is in debt to China, and all the while Barack Obama is filling out his March Madness brackets and planning his next family vacation while aptly playing the part of Nero as Rome burns to the ground.

None of this has been lost on Hillary Clinton, who recently stated that she would not accept a second term as Secretary of State. The reason for which she is unwilling to stay on in the Obama regime as Secretary of State if Barack Obama wins a second term is now coming to light. According to this article Hillary Clinton is tired of Barack Obama’s indecision and amateurishness. Here is a quote from a Clinton insider:

Obviously, she’s not happy with dealing with a president who can’t decide if today is Tuesday or Wednesday, who can’t make his mind up,” a Clinton insider told The Daily. “She’s exhausted, tired.”

If you take a look at what’s on her plate as compared with what’s on the plates of previous Secretary of States — there’s more going on now at this particular moment, and it’s like playing sports with a bunch of amateurs. And she doesn’t have any power. She’s trying to do what she can to keep things from imploding

Those are strong words indeed, and I agree with them fully. Hillary Clinton is miffed with Barack Obama because he does not have the courage to make the tough decisions, but is she really surprised? After all this is the man who chose not to make any choices on tough issues while he was in the Illinois state senate, instead electing to vote “present” rather than take a stand an inordinate amount times, so it should come as no surprise to her that he is afraid to take a stand on issues of foreign policy.

And who can forget the memorable quote from James Carville that went something like this: If Hillary gave Barack one of her balls, the would both have two. How prophetic does that quote seem now? The world is in turmoil and yet Nero–as played by Barack Obama–continues to fiddle as Rome burns because he feels as if the toughest choice he has to make this week is selecting who he believes will be in the Final Four.

You have to have priorities, right?

I didn’t think anybody could be worse than Jimmy Carter. I’m thinking I was wrong.

Obama is so low at this point that comparing him to Jimmy Carter would be a compliment.

My oh my, there is trouble in the camp. Honestly, I am surprised it has taken Hillary this long to speak up. The Daily article said she was finished after 2012, but one has to wonder if she will not decide to resign and take him on in the primary.

I am not convinced that she will not run again in 2012. And if she did I think there would be a better than everage chance she could beat Barack Obama.

“After all this is the man who chose not to make any choices on tough issues while he was in the Illinois state senate”

As a resident of the “Peoples Republic of Illinois” I dare anyone to find a bill that this “Community Organizer” introduced in the Illinois General Assembly? I know it isn’t possible because there are none. There isn’t an original idea or opinion that has come from this amateurs attempt to become a leader. He was a “co-sponsor” on a few, if you know what a co-sponsor is then you will understand. A co-sponsor is someone who has been told by his staff that is politically expedient to sign his name on a bill because the electorate will see it as a sign of leadership. Once again Obama has no original ideas and collects the political capitol for another person’s work. Standard fare for a failure.

And now that he is the one who must make the decisions we are seeing how ill prepared he was for the job.

I said when she was hired that she would concoct some crisis and end up opposing him in 2012. This may be it. There’s nothing she wants more than the oval office.

I do believe she is going to run in 2012, this is her opening for a way out. There is no doubt that there is still lingering resentment that Obama got what she felt was rightfully her’s.

She may run against him, though I”m not really convinced that it will happen. She would be as inept as he is, and definitely dangerous for our country as she cozy’s up to the UN too much.

If the Republicans finally gather around two strong candidates, they will also carry the tide to the Senate, the rest of the House, and the States on all levels, and no Rino’s and Democrat look alikes.

As much as I hate to admit it, we would probably be better off with Hillary as President. Barack is a disaster. I have never been a Hillary fan, but she would be a better choice.

I’ve never agreed with just about anything Hillary has ever said, but indecisivness has never been one of her problems. No one ever has to guess what her opinion is. It must be killing her to have to go around the world delivering Obama’s opinions– when she can decipher them.
