Jamie Gorelick to head the FBI?

March 26, 2011

Barack Obama is in the market for a new director of the FBI and it is being reported that Jamie Gorelick is on the short list of candidates to fill that position.

As a deputy attorney general in the Clinton administration Jamie Gorelick wrote the memo that became policy which prohibited organizations such as the FBI and the CIA to share information. The 911 commission found that part of the blame for the success of the attacks was due to the lack of intra-agency communication. In other words the “Gorelick Wall” was partly to blame for the failure of the United States government to stop the September 11th attacks. So why the “Gorelick Wall” in the first place? Many believe it was set up to hinder investigations into the Clintons’  money laundering schemes.

In a startling conflict of interest Jamie Gorelick was asked to–and did–serve on the 911 commission investigating the failure of the government to protect the people on September 11th, and many feel–as do I–she was there to diminish or deflect the blame that the Clinton administration might see laid at its feet (or hide the real reason for the “Wall” in the first place). In the end the committee found the lack of communication to be partly to blame, so she was not able to hide President Clinton’s role leading up to September 11th. But the real reason for the “Wall” in the first place? Maybe she was able to hide that, I guess we will never know.

But there is more to Jamie Gorelick than just her “Wall” for she was also vice chairman of Fannie Mae when the company began its policies which helped to lead to the mortgage meltdown.

To think that there is even the possibility for this woman to head the FBI with her history is startling and if she is indeed nominated for this position it will create even more questions about Barack Obama’s competency to be president, for nobody with judgement as bad as this should be allowed to run a country of $300 million people.

Could his judgement be this flawed? Or is he doing it on purpose?

Thanks for the H/T. There is no question in my mind that this is on purpose. Is he just doing this to scatter us with everything under the sun to react to? That would be the Alinsky tactic.

You’re welcome, this isn’t getting nearly the publicity that it should get. I am beginning to think he is doing it on purpose as well. He can’t be this naive, it has to be part of the plan.

Hmmmph… he’s GOT to be thinking, “How can I piss off conservatives today?” This can’t be a REAL choice! 😦

I can think of no good reason for this woman to even be considered for the head job at the FBI. If he proceeds with this, the Republicans should block her nomination at every turn.

I totally agee with Larry. When I read your post in my BlackBerry I thought, “I know that name. Where do I know it from?” Then you filled in the holes.

This would be a complete fiasco. God forbid this goes through. 9-11 will pale in comparision.

I tremble thinking of the consequences that might result in this appointment.

Hopefully she isn’t being considered very seriously, but even being on the list shows us the type of person that Obama is looking at.

I can’t believe that she is even being considered for this post, but if she ever gets it I hate to think of what might happen. Maybe her name is just being thrown out there as a favor for the Clintons.

And the cancer keeps spreading. Worse, it is spreading by design. Worst of all, apperntly 50+% of the voters are so detached they don’t know what is going on and they still support this traitor.

That is the one thing I fear about the election in 2012: I am afraid that there are still enough people who do not pay attention to what is going on who will still head to the polls and vote for Obama because they just don’t understand what he is doing.

It is true. There are still many people that don’t get it. Then there are the people who get it but don’t know all the things that are going on. Then there’s me. I get it. I know a lot more than the average person, and I still had no clue about who this woman was until I read a scathing article, much more incriminating than what you wrote. I find her the worst possible choice for anything, but I preceded to ask many who try to stay up to speed if they knew who she was , and they don;t. WE must educate, LOL, because most of my education comes from you. So I say, continue what you’re doing but always remember, few are in the know, and many, many more are willing to learn . . .

I think there are quite a few people who don’t know who she is because she was part of a coverup by being placed on the 911 committee with such a conflict of interest and the media naturally focused on Bush and ignored this story.
I think you are right; there are more and more Americans who are beginning to learn and educate themselves and I am one of them. I do not know all that I feel I need to know about our history but I am doing my best to learn.

A review of such from you would be much appreciated. People need to be reminded. Many still don’t know. I’m most familiar with what Judge Napolatano wrote about her in his book, and can hardly believe that could happen in America, let alone by the AG!

Maybe I will do a post on it in the near future. I also read the judge’s book and was reminded of what happened during that time. Too many people today do not even know what the government did at Ruby Ridge and Wako.
