Weinergate: Anthony Weiner sponored a bill to crack down on internet predators

June 7, 2011

If you go to his “On the Issues” page you will see that Anthony Weiner proudly sponsored the “Keeping the Internet Devoid of Sexual Predators” (KIDS) legislation. On this page he states, “the Internet is the predator’s venue of choice today.” He is talking about child molesters in that statement but the irony of this story is just too good to pass up.

Here we have a man who sponsored legislation to crack down on people using the internet to prey on young boys and girls, yet at the same time he was using the internet to prey on girls who were young enough to be his daughters.

When he states that the internet is a predator’s venue of choice it appears as if he has first hand knowledge of the fact. Am I saying that Anthony Weiner is a predator? To paraphrase President Clinton, it all depends on what your definition of “is” is.

I don’t see why not, at least for this arrogant Weiner!

Agreed. It’s unbelievable that his sending that picture in an unsolicited manner to anyone hasn’t resulted in more calls for resignation. Oh that’s right, he’s a Democrap.

The double standard is glaring here, isn’t it. Democrats can get away with almost anything and the media will simply brush it aside.

Well said Mark. I cannot believe all of the things going on in this admin, and the media just simply ignores it. Like Obama’s little trip to the U.K. with his 500 personal entourage. Nice.

The media is in bed with the Democrat party and they might have been able to get away with this in the past, but with the internet the MSM is becoming more irrelevant everyday.

Is this guy really for real? How does he really believe he is going to be taken seriously from this point on. He needs to go and go now.

This man obviously has no shame; for someone like him to think people will still take him seriously shows how arrogant he really is.

I heard Wasserman say this was a private issue between Weiner and his “wife.” Here’s an example of how it’s more than that.

Exactly rjjrdq, this is not simply a personal matter, especially when you take into account he did it while on the taxpayer’s dime.

As a woman, wife & mother let me ask; where are the harpies from the National Organization of Women and where’ s their outrage and demands for this “predator” to resign his seat?? Yes, you guessed it, there is none.
Weiner is a liberal Democrat and the sisterhood won’t utter a peep in condemnation. These hypocrites practice “selective” indignation and turn a blind eye to the bad behavior of leftist politicians, no matter how sexist or outrageous it may be..
NOW is nothing more than an aging sorority of hypocrites and cranks whose time has come and gone. They are irrelevant to the majority of American women today and everyone knows it but them. Their silence speaks volumes.

I agree with KP, great comment! These are the same groups that defended Bill Clinton while running his alleged victim through the wringer, they care more about the liberal agenda and defending abortion than they actually do about women.

I received this post from my Google alerts and greatly enjoyed your brief article on Weinergate.

My name is Dr. Michael Nuccitelli and I’m a New York State licensed psychologist and certified forensic consultant. My expertise and present research endeavors are investigating theoretical criminology and internet predators.

Recently I have been focused on my theory coined iPredator. The definition is as follows:

iPredator™: A person(s) who engages in victimizing others using digital communications technology , telecommunications and the internet. Cyberstalkers, cyberbullies, cyberterrorists, cybercriminals and sexual predators all use “Cyberstealth” afforded by the internet and social media to stalk their prey.

I’ve been fortunate to trademark my theoretical framework and now working with the American College of Forensic Examiners College International (ACFEI) to educate the country on developing internet safety, cyber security, and victimization reduction strategies.

If I can ever be of help, feel free to contact me.

    Dr. Nuccitelli

The iPredator is the new monster cloaked by cyberspace and motivated by malevolence. The question remains is if Congressman Weiner is an iPredator.
