Allen West calls Barack Obama’s leadership on the debt ceiling “sad” and “pathetic”
Allen West has taken exception to the fear mongering tactics of Barack Obama during the debt ceiling debate. Barack Obama made the false claim that he couldn’t guarantee Social Security checks would be mailed out in August if the debt ceiling was not raised, and Allen West does not at all approve of this scare tactic one bit.
The money for Social Security WILL be there IF Barack Obama prioritizes it, if the money is not there it will because Barack Obama doesn’t WANT the money to be there. And Allen West has taken steps to assuage the fears of the elderly by signing on to the Priority Spending Act, which would place Social Security payments as the number four priority in the case of default, thus making the guarantee that Barack Obama is unwilling to make.
Allen West has come out swinging again; there really isn’t anything I can add to what he has said other than to ask; wouldn’t it be great to have a leader like this decide to run for president?

I know it is a pipe dream, but I am stil holding out hope we may see it, why else is he getting himself out there so much recently?

I’ve been wishing Allen West would run for president for a while now…and as much as I’d vote for Rick Perry if he enters the race, I’d MUCH prefer Allen West. He’d chew Obama up and spit him out in a debate…’course, what we call ‘debates’ these days really aren’t…more’s the pity….

He seems to be getting out there a little bit more, maybe it is a sign he is thinking about getting in the ring.
