Barack Obama’s uncle arrested for drunk driving and detained as an illegal alien

August 29, 2011

Barack Obama’s long lost uncle has finally been found, and most likely the president is wishing that he hadn’t been. Onyango Obama was arrested last Wednesday for drunk driving and is being detained as an illegal alien. In addition to the embarrassment the president should be feeling, the timing of this arrest must be equally troubling to Barack Obama because it was only two weeks ago when the president issued a new policy by decree regarding immigration enforcement.

According to Barack Obama’s new decree, illegal immigrants facing deportation hearings would be let go unless they had committed an additional crime while they were in the country illegally. In essence this was a decree of amnesty to thousands of illegals, including his uncle. But with this arrest Barack Obama’s uncle is now facing at least two other criminal charges, and according to Barack Obama’s new laws this should push him to the top of the deportation list if he is convicted.

If he is convicted; those are the magic words, and that is where the bigger question lies because we have already seen Barack Obama’s Auntie Zeituni–who was in this country illegally and receiving public housing and welfare–receive political asylum even though she was never politically persecuted and was already in violation of several deportation orders.

While Barack Obama denied having any direct influence in the court decision which granted his beloved auntie political asylum, one has to wonder what effect his mere presidency had on the case. Surely a judge would be influenced by Barack Obama’s background in the political thuggery of Chicago politics and would be leery of deporting a relative of the president, and I am sure that this will be once again evidenced in this case as well.

As president Barack Obama is charged with defending the laws of the country, but as we have already seen with DOMA, DODT, and illegal immigration, Barack Obama is choosing to defend only certain federal laws. But he could not possibly have foreseen that his latest decree on illegal immigration could come back to bite him on the ass they way it has with this news.

It is going to be very interesting to watch this story in the coming months although I think new news on this story will be hard to come by as the propaganda arm of the Obama regime will ignore it altogether. Barack Obama created new immigration laws and now we will see whether or not he is willing to follow them. Lady Justice is blind, and we are all equal in the eyes of the law, right? We will soon find out.

I think your last sentence nails it. This is going to be plowed under, just like the illegal alien aunt living at taxpayers’ expense in public housing.

I wonder what odds the bookies in the UK would put on uncle’s deportation? Pretty low I’d guess.

Uncle Onyango and Aunt Zeituni sound old, yet they aren’t, are they? She has been in the system sucking away and most likely he has, also. Hasn’t he been here for years, also? Apparently neither are a threat to anyone else unless you count the driving drunk. Aren’t we supposed to open up our arms and welcome them into the family here? What about all the legal ones that are trying to apply and get turned down? We are back, once again on the illegal immigrants, take a guess how long it will take to get the sob story of how hard it is to get here and they only want to work, etc, etc, etc. And, once again we will all be called that horrible word “racist”. Pretty much that is a non-issue for me anymore, if that is what they think, who am I to try and change their minds! Think there are any more relatives we will learn about?

The media–if they cover this at all–will use this as an example of why our immigration laws need to be overhauled. They will neglect the drunk driving part of this story and focus on making this all about the unfair treatment of illegals.

This is sort of OT, but still about illegals. Our US Labor Sec. Hilda Solis signed partnership agreements today with Ambassadors from Latin American nations to protect as she describes, the labor rights of legal AND illegal migrants working in the US. She is aiming to protect documented AND undocumented workers here. How can she do this? She is protecting THEM? What about us? I am amazed once again what people are willing to accept here. The key words for me are illegal and undocumented, doesn’t anyone else think it is odd to give them “rights” in the US?

Just another quick question: does she have the constitutional authority to negotiate treaties with foreign governments? Does anyone know the answer to this?

I saw this late last night and am planning to write something about it tonight, I didn’t have time last night. The president can send someone overseas to negotiate a treaty, even Washington did it, naturally he would have to approve it but where it might get iffy–and I haven’t read the full article yet–is that all treaties must be passed by the Senate with a 2/3 majority. Is this something that will go before the Senate?

I reread the article and it did not have anything about the Senate being involved. Is it executive order or decree time again? Who knows. I will be interested to see what you write today on it and look forward to seeing what you find in your diggings. I think he is picking up steam now and we are going to see more and more bills, treaties and agreements being put on the table without the Senate and House having involvement. There is so much to bring to the peoples attention, but it seems like all they are interested in is “the game”. Me, I want to know what is going to directly affect my family, I imagine most on here feel the same way. All I can say is keep looking and when we find something that doesn’t seem right, POST IT. Then the others can start researching, too. Thanks for your website, Steve.

      I found this Lou.
The president has the authority to negotiate treaties with other nations. These formal international agreements do not go into effect, however, until ratified by a two-thirds vote of the Senate.

Nowhere did it mention Hilda Solis.

So, unless the president can pass along the authority to her, she can’t do this? And even after that it needs to have a 2/3 senate vote, interesting. Thanks, RJ.

The president can give her the authority to negotiate for him, even George Washington did this with Jay’s treaty, but the Senate sill has to pass it by a 2/3 majority. Rjjrdq is 100% right.

Being the uncle of the Obomination would be more embarrassing to me than being arrested for drunk driving and an a illegal immigrant, I sure wouldn’t want anyone to know I was related.

Joeb, remember to some people Obama is a “god”….others, not so much. But, for what it is worth, I would be embarrassed, too.

Aren’t the republicans just awful for pointing out family trouble? It was the Tea Party that drove the uncle to drink, OBVIOUSLY… 😉

Just how many of his clan are over here?? I think I had read that under a certain provision, many of his Kenyan relatives were being given the status to come over here because of “threats”. Sorry, cannot recall the name of the provision.

lol Its such a major cultural difference. caucasion Americans would never understand the meaning of a large family because everyone lives nuclear isolated lives here…and the only time people share is online or at a pub!
Whats the point of critisizing him…truth is he IS PRESIDENT..trying to improve America and the shit the previous presidents lead…not to forget the sheep that voted those previous presidents into power! Don’t be foolish…if you think you can do a better job then what are you waiting for??? Siting behind a pc screen sharing your foolish opinions has no value!….he cant control the actions of his extended family only those of himself..I thought vikings understood individualism??..perhaps you’re not as educated as I thought *Sigh*

Lulu, you are really generalizing about Caucasian Americans, as you put it. Apparently you feel that this president has improved America? Where do you get all of your information? As for the foolish opinions, last time I checked we were still able to share them. Whether they hold any value depends on who is reading them and it appears you see no value in those opinions, so I fail to see why you are even here. Not sure about the “vikings” comment, it must have a meaning to you only. Now, as far as whether you think anyone here is “educated” really holds no weight, either. Was there a purpose to your posting or was it just one of those “cheap shots”?
