Union leader calls for war on the Tea Party: “let’s take these sons of bitches out”
Earlier today, at an event for Barack Obama, Jimmy Hoffa had this to say about the Tea Party:
We got to keep an eye on the battle that we face: The war on workers. And you see it everywhere, it is the Tea Party. And you know, there is only one way to beat and win that war. The one thing about working people is we like a good fight. And you know what? They’ve got a war, they got a war with us and there’s only going to be one winner. It’s going to be the workers of Michigan, and America. We’re going to win that war,” Jimmy Hoffa Jr. said to a heavily union crowd.
“President Obama, this is your army. We are ready to march. Let’s take these son of bitches out and give America back to an America where we belong
He has declared war on the Tea Party while telling the president that the unions are part of his army and he declared that it was time to take we “sons of bitches out.” A rational person could make the claim that he wasn’t advocating violence but rather was using a euphemism for beating his opponents at the ballot boxes–and I would agree.
But we must not forget what the left told us after the Arizona shooting: an unstable person might not be able to tell the difference between literal and figurative talk and could see this as a call to violence so we must tone down the violent rhetoric in order to ensure that something like this shooting didn’t happen again.
I expect Barack Obama to make a public statement condemning this violent rhetoric coming from his largest special interest group at any moment because if he does not than it will show us by his silence that he condones this type of rhetoric when it comes from the left.

Breath, my friend, breath! Obama isn’t going to say anything for now. He spoke shortly after Hoffa and all he had was praise for the role of the unions.

I heard those comments as they were made and expected nothing less Hoffa and his union goons. Obama would never speak out against them—first he is afraid of that bunch and second, he knows what side his bread is buttered on.

If you want more examples of what the unions will do to a city read this – http://www.city-journal.org/2011/21_3_los-angeles.html. Very good article about the fall of Los Angeles. Mirrors my home town of Detroit after 50 years of Democrat and Union rule. Difference is Los Angeles is sinking faster and with 4 times the amount of people and recources. This is the America Trumka and Hoffa would like you to live in.

I would expect nothing less from a bunch of union thugs. As for Obama calling them out on their rhetoric, you can forget that. They play by a completely different set of rules than they want us to play by.

It really isn’t surprising coming from Hoffa, and it isn’t surprising that Obama will say nothing about this. They really do expect us to live up to a different standard than they do.

They are just waiting for some action. Anyone want to bet he will move on the Internet? By the time if and when it goes through the courts, the election will be over.

I wouldn’t be surprised in the least. And even if the courts did rule in time for the election we have already seen that Obama will ignore court rulings.

Waiting for leadership from Obama is on the order of waiting for Godot. Fearless Leader was cast from the same mold as Neville Chamberlain, hiding from conflict and remaining safely out of the fray.

It sure looks like an organized attack. How did everything wrong with the world suddenly become the fault of the “tea party,” that isn’t a party all? Boehner must be loving it, having unions do all the work for him though.

There is no doubt that this is an organized attack because Barack Obama cannot run on his record. This is a deflection tactic designed to keep the spotlight off of Obama’s failed policies.

They are just caricatures of themselves at this point. And I just love how this is phrased as “workers v. Tea Party.” Not any workers in the Tea Party, right?

This is just business as usual for “The Chicago Way”. Did you expect the upcoming election to be fair? Really? No, really? Living in Illinois, I know what goes on here, now we are just going to deal with it on a grander scale. We are in full mode campaigning now, have been for awhile, but bring in the union thugs and it is going to go into fast gear. I really expected nothing less from the thugs. The president doesn’t have to say anything as long as he has others to do it. It gets done one way or the other and in this case, Jay Carney can put his spin on it and Wasserman-Shultz can ignore it all she wants, it is still in the news and the members will hang on every words.

I see your point, Steve, but are you sure it is not the other way around and Obama is the lapdog? Anymore, this administration doesn’t have clear cut jobs, they are just all blending together. Maybe this is to keep any one person from taking all the blame if something goes wrong. I am just thinking out loud. Like I have said before, I question everything.

A very good point Lou, the unions do hold the key to Obama’s reelection. He can’t speak out about this because he is too beholden to them.

But, it is so blatantly obvious where he stands on this. The tone of his voice, the inflections tell us all we need to know. If you think about it, he has no other choice than to side with the unions. If he doesn’t he will not have a chance of re-election. He will have the black vote, but he needs the unions, too.

I hate to think that way, but it has crossed my mind, The natural progression of government is toward centralization and more power, and that appears to be where we are headed.

Harrison, I think it has come to the point that no one person can be blamed because they are all involved. And, as much as I hate to generalize, I think this administration is guilty as a whole on what is happening to us. Will it be a case of take them all out of there or none of them, we’ll see how it plays out.

If they do march, they’ll require two fifteen minute breaks and a one hour lunch every eight hours. Oh, and no marching on weekends and holidays for less than double rate.
